It was a typical Liverpool Leeds game with lot of pace and goals. Just the way we like it:1980_boogie_down:

This is true, you should try posting on the Millwall board to sort out your issues.

These are the players who impressed me the most...

    Struijk
    Phillips
    Harrison
    Costa
    Bamford

If we could just get another couple of signings we could be really competitive. I'm thinking a natural left back and an attacking midfielder...both need to have pace though or why bother.

On the contrary, that's the exact way to play against us. Set traps, wave us on and hit us on the break works fantastically as we just keep committing men forward.

We struggle to break teams down that come to defend. When we play teams that attack us we look really dangerous.

Watching the WH v New game and it's not exactly the same quality is it ?

    One thought though,

I'd sign Andy Carrol in January...just to lay the nut on Virgil VD at every corner :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Ooooh I do like a bit of vengance.

I thought Struijk was to panicing, to much arm and legs in the begining. You could see that Koch and Struijk had not played much together. But it is only going to get better:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Maybe but Struijk hasn't played at anything like this level before...in fact he's hardly played at any level.

Did you notice he was able to play diagonals out wide with either foot ?

Actually I've missed player off who deserves credit...Meslier

Ok he made an error of judgement for the 2nd goal but other than that he was very assured.

wouldn’t argue with your list, though thought both full backs did well Personally (Dallas won’t have Salah to deal with every week) and klich did a lot of work - though was better off it than on it ( goal excepted) - meslier’s distribution wasn’t as good as usual but he did well too.

thought only Pablo was below par really.

struijk grew into the game, so, jokes aside. did Koch to be fair.

we were just a baby shambles at set pieces.

I think he was probably instructed at half time to come for corners

I’ll sleep better after that performance, we’ll play teams as good but we won’t play any better than that. We’ll get beat by larger margins we’ll have off days but I’m more confident we’ll pick up some good results and ruffle a few feathers.

I think we’re going to have to get used to the big decisions going in favour of the big six we’ll not be alone in that though.

Struijk really impressed me, Pablo was the only one I was disappointed with. Rodrigo is going to need time to settle in, they did us proud.

Can’t remember the build up to Liverpool’s third but the other three were all from dead ball situations.
