No surprise that I don't think it's bollox, us being bad was the main issue and I don't think it was down to the way Leeds played but down to our own mistakes.
You don't think it was down to Leeds having more possession at Anfield, first team in 2/3 years according to sky commentators.
Defensively you’re a mess, and largely have been since the restart in July tbh mate. I thought Leeds gave a very good account of themselves, and had the bottle to have a go and try and take the game to you. They were worth a point for me, especially given the first pen decision.
Well if you can only win by a lucky one goal, at home, to a newly promoted team you lot may have fewer wins to enjoy this season, just saying.
The fact we are pissed off losing by a ref mistake at Anfield, says it all really. Most of the other prem teams would be happy with that, we will do well this season,if they were 18 points better than the next best last season, we will do very well.
Well Klopp though it was because we pressed you so hard. So I don`t know is you the bestman to juge it or is Klopp the best to do it
Ultimately, we were shambolic defending set pieces... which with 2 new centre backs is completely understandable. And they both grew into the game. Other than that the best attacking side in the league caused us some problems in transition which is to be expected. But for Large parts we knocked them out of their stride and had a real go. Some really solid performances throughout the team, plenty to be positive about only thing is, it’s zero points and points are better than plaudits
The bottom line though is luvz...we gifted you the game at the end. Not many sides will come to Anfield this season and play like we did. Admit it, when you went 1-0 and then 2-1 you were thinking it would be a walk in the park and you'd run out easy winners.
This is true, I did think it would go our way. It's that point that I'm talking about the tactical aspect though, you kept trying to play out and got caught often. That will do you well throughout the season but on another day you'd have kept doing it and we'd have had a field day.
It was also a **** up by Klopp dropping off and trying to catch you on the break, it almost worked at one point but not the way to play against you.
Agreed. At one point at 3-3 we beat your initial press with some great passing and then made the mistake of playing backwards and got caught in possession. Common mistake made by too many teams and annoys me to hell when I see it happening.
