So on the eve of the league’s return I’m noticing quite a bit of ambivalence around the upcoming season for our Spurs from some fans and most pundits, with almost nobody predicting a top 4 finish and some saying we’ll drop out of the top 6. I’m not quite as pessimistic, and I think you have to account for the form we showed under Mourinho last season, even if it wasn’t always pretty. I also think that some of the teams around us have hardly strengthened, and those that have, particularly Chelsea, will struggle to bed in so many new players at once, as we did post-Bale. So let’s have your top 6, bottom 3, top scorer, and cup winners please. Nobody held to any of this, just a bit of fun and debate. (I’m basing this on us getting that elusive striker because without that it’s going to be a massive struggle) 1. City 2. Liverpool 3. Chelsea 4. Man U 5. Spurs 6. Arsenal 18. West Brom 19. Fulham 20. West Ham Top Scorer: Kane (if he stays fit...) FA Cup: United League Cup: City CL: Bayern EL: Spurs! (mods if someone has done this on a thread that I missed then please do merge/delete as appropriate)

Does that now go to the team in 6th? Or 7th if a team in Europe wins a domestic cup?

Liverpool city Chelsea Arsenal United Wolves *Spurs *this is based on Spurs not getting a decent back up striker as Kane looks ****ed already and I fear he will miss chunks of the season. I hope he isn’t as we have the Euros at the end of the season.
