Just got back from my third funeral of the year.

I know it's probably just a function of my age, but at some time during the past five years, Four Weddings and a Funeral has turned right on its head.

Effortlessly cool right to the end, our friend arrived in the back of his beloved Discovery, wrote his own eulogy and went out to the strains of Elvis. :emoticon-0103-cool:

So Addicks, I urge you all to :emoticon-0159-musicLive, Laugh, Love and Be Happy:emoticon-0159-music

And I'll be happier tomorrow, too - promise. :emoticon-0100-smile

I am sorry to hear of your sad news, Tewks. The day sounds as if it went to plan and that is all that matters at this moment.

I, too, have had my share of funerals and bad news this year. It certainly does make you consider your health and the good things in life. Such thoughts led me to cease drinking alcohol and to look at my diabetes with a serious eye. The weight has fallen off, my blood-sugars are improved and I have more energy. I just wish I could give up the ***s! But all in good time, I say.

I wish all of you 606ers good health and much luck.

    COYR!

I want The Red, Red Robin played at my funeral, it never fails to make me feel good about myself and life in general.

Although I suspect our happiness tomorrow will be dependent on certain goings on in Sheffield. ;)

Sorry to hear that tewkes. I've only attended one funeral and that was around 8 months ago and I lost a dear friend to cancer at 24. You have my deepest sympathies.

The last funeral I was at they played "Fire" by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown as the coffin was lowered into the furnace. Really loud too.

    Morning Everyone!

The Tewks head is back where it should be today, thanks for your support and that story, FHB.

A bit rattled by events yesterday but a swift 10k and a gym session this morning has set me up nicely for the trip to Sheffield.

Win, l**e or draw today, I'm just overwhelmingly happy to be fit and well and there, supporting our beloved team.

And I'll play this thread out with The Pierces...
