Match Day Thread QPR vs Nottinham Forest

Forest teaching us how to play football.

 

That was really close, Dykes only narrowly missed our first 100% chance.

 

Lovely move from us down the left, Dykes couldnt quite reach a good cross.

 

Then again but in the air, just over Amos.

BOS wants to take everybody on instead of getting a cross in

 

Good defending from Barbet there.

 

With a squad of 83 players they have to get it right eventually.

Reading two up at WRDC. Madness.

 

A decent half from Rangers. Some nice passing, particularly from Carroll, but we really haven't given Dykes much to feed off.

Not bad, though.

 

0-0 HT. Apart from too many poor passes we have done pretty well. Kakay and Carroll impress again, but everyone has done ok so far.

 

We started playing some better football after that commen. Forest seemed to be a lot more patient, happy to build and pass around us, where we were playing like 1-0 down with 5 mins to go, uselessly knocking it forward every time we got possession. But we seemed to calm down after 25 mins only

 

We’re not losing.

 

HT - an entertaining and pretty even game which only lacks chances at both ends. Quite a few sloppy passes but then again up to now I am not disappointed with what I have seen so far. We certainly need to be quicker on the counterattacks as NF seems to be vulnerable for that.

 

Any doubts about Tom Carroll still? Not from me, he looks like just the player we have been lacking.
Amos also looks much better in an advanced role.
Dickie has won every header.
Very solid, which is something that was never said last season.

 

SW up 2 -0 at Cardiff- want to make up those - 12 points quick.

 

We shall not we shall not be moved.

 

Carroll looks very good.

 

We’re only ten ahead. Time to panic.

 

Really influential first half from Chair. If he can tidy up his game a bit we may not miss Eze as much as we feared.
