Looks like he needs a good meal!

You'd think with all the resources and knowledge clubs have on nutrition/diet/exercise it wouldn't take him long to bulk up a little.

Can’t wait to see how he looks at the end of the season. Just hope he’s got the mentality to dedicate himself to his individual objectives. Very easy to point out what someone needs to do. Much more difficult to get them to commit to the work required over a long period. Not every player relishes the gym work.

Yes - I knew someone at SHants A&E when he came in.

Back on topic, I don't think Smallbone has a physical game yet so plenty of time to bulk up. You just can't rush it though. Djenepo isn't much better. They both rely more on speed in the role they currently play. In time (4 years or so) though I can see Smallbone as another JWP

According to new instructions from the bbc, you mustn’t say too much about a black players speed or strength because you are implying he isnt clever.
Yes, really. The lunatics are running the asylum.
Strangely, they didn’t mention the one thing that does get my goat. The tendency to call black players lazy....always uncomfortable about that as it is rarely directed at white players.

Mmmmm, don`t agree with that. Not really relevant, but Celtic and Morton used to have a player called Andy Ritchie who was known as the Idle Idol!

The eve of a new season was always exciting as a kid and that hasn't changed as seasons have passed.

All the expectations, hope, optimism and dreams usually dashed in the first 90 minutes.

Maybe we can pick up where we left off last season.

I do believe it is match day once more and I am quite excited to see if we continue with our very good form especially away from home.

Or to put it simply "buzzing".
