Wish I'd quoted prehab obviously - but I was just telling the guy who'd posted before me that there was more to the rumours of an announcement today than just what Barnes had said. "Attack" might have been a hyperbolic word but I was responding to Bombshell saying I had attacked him.
Ca't comment on how mitten-esque I am as never seen one of his posts - but it sounds negative so I don't like it.
Yet you said Magnus had claimed an announcement when he hadn't. And prehab's post says maybe an announcement, but nothing takeover related. And then you've said you were attacked when you weren't. If you are going to make statements like 'I'm pretty sure X said Y', expect to be pulled on it if it's not correct. No doubling down needed on my part for that.
My post said Prehab or Magnus (I couldn't remember which one), had suggested their might be an announcement today. Magnus hadn't. Prehab had. The fact he didnt say if it was about a takeover is irrelevant, as neither did I. I was just pointing out he'd said it. I'd quote it again for you but I reckon it's a tad boring for all of us now. Just don't like being accused of making stuff up, or having **** posts, when I've posted in good faith.
I personally, and am not aiming this at anyone, don’t know if there’s anyone on here using multiple names etc. Can I just say, and I reiterate I’m not convinced there is one, but if you are, get a ****ing life as I swear someone using multiple accounts on a forum is about the saddest state of affairs i could ever imagine. Im gonna hope that it isn’t the case, cos I’d actually feel really concerned and saddened for a person who did that. No further comment, I’m just sick of it ****ing up threads on what has always been a great forum.
Well be a bit more accurate in the language you're using then. As you found out, takes 30 seconds to use the search function so you can be accurate in what you are saying. Additionally, other folk post in good faith as well and it's a bit **** when someone claims they've said something when they haven't, like you did.
Understand that pal - @Magnus I apologise for not checking whether it was you or prehab first - I was hoping my "or" would cover me but will do it differently next time.
Personally I'd love it if it was illegal to use a different name on the internet. For issues far greater than message boards like this, obviously, but it's ridiculous people can hide behind anonymosity and racially abuse people etc and be hard to track down. Would also have the added benefit of stopping aliases

I said I’m not in the know, glad I’m not, the **** some lads are getting for passing on what they are told. Can’t we stick to the thread topic ? It would make reading this thread so much easier.
I was very sure one of Magnus and Prehab had said it - hence putting "OR". And I've just apologised for Magnus as it turned out to be Prehab, and I've just quoted that post on the previous page. Won't quote it again as I think the board will be getting sick of me trying to defend myself.
Agreed. Someone maybe start a schizophrenia thread and if there are multiple alias users they can chat amongst themselves and agree with their own opinions. Problem solved.
I said probably and within the next 48 hours. Nothing about today and a guarantee. If they don't put it out it out by the weekend they will have dealt with it in house and may have decided an announcement is not needed. Especially with the first game of the season being at home. May want all marketing and attention on that.
It used to be fun on here but its turning into a forum for discussing the RTG forum. When that's not happening its paranoia about who's who, a squabble about who's more in the know, or quibbling over semantics for the sake of one upmanship.
As RTG continues to collapse the Mods on here need to watch out for people wishing to spoil the place.

Yeh completely agree. I wasn't suggesting you were saying definite, and wasn't accusing you of "lying" or anything now that it hasn't happened today. Was just telling the lad before that there was more to the speculation than just Barnes. Fingers crossed for some positive news in next few weeks.
