I wonder who the Saudis will buy? I'm hoping it's a European club outside the prem.. I think I'll follow them and when they crush the premier league sides in the championship league it'll be ****ing awesome
For the umpteenth time, the Saudis aren’t interested, look at the trading of PIF. They’ve pulled out of riskier investments.
They'll buy someone one day I have no doubt.. I just hope its not another prem club in a few years.. For what it's worth I still believe something might happen with this in the future.
He's actually quite lean now. If this comes off I'd expect Saints to become even more of a selling club and drop off. They're not serious GACP.
Dagrossa simply isn't rich enough for this league and his plans to develop youth will fail because they'll get outbid and anyone that's looking good will be snapped up.. They'll force moves. I think saints have benefited from a good manager now mind.. They play good football.. It went backwards dramatically while they were learning it, but once it set in they've been very good..
A good start and I'm convinced something will happen at Xmas.. Unlike the majority I don't see the Saudis just taking it up the arse.. We already know they came back to the table after submitting new paperwork and that was after they said they'd withdrawn.. No takeover is happening now, but this will resurface again somewhere down the line providing nufc is still actually a premiership club.
My contact has told me that Ashley and the buyers have been ‘playing chess’ with the PL’s lawyers to get them over a barrel. They think they have them cornered now with nowhere to go.
My contact told me that the legal teams had been playing chess too, but Ashley's ****ing furious paying for them to play a board game so released his own statement.
Glad you've come to your senses. I thought it was dead, but Ashley's game playing put it right back on the table. The only thing I'm confused on is PIF's role in this - the proposed takeover is well outside of their current strategy. However, it must still be them involved as the impasse with the PL is entirely down to KSA's involvement. From what I can see, Ashley is taking a very aggressive stance against the considerably weaker PL in a bid to force the issue. By dragging it into the public domain he puts them in an impossible position, because they: 1) Haven't followed their own test/rules 2) Are complicit in deliberately obfuscating the process, simply because other clubs don't want this and even then for purely selfish reasons 3) Don't have a pot to piss in, with TV revenue absolutely tanking and a partner - BeIN - who couldn't be weaker in their region if they tried (banned from broadcasting to a number of Middle East countries) 4) Are also up against the UK Govt, who clearly want this deal to pass given the circumstances. Assuming PIF are still interested and the money is still on the table, I am now right back in the "it's happening" camp. The bottom line is, the PL cannot legally stop it.
It's twitter its full of idiots like Edwards who were out in force poring cold water on it as they did throughout... They're simply desperate to see it fail and fail permanently. There's been something brewing for the past month and I was on the ball throughout that period... I fell into the trap of reading twitter and it was all just people's thoughts and opinions. I've since heard one or two things saying the opposite to those lemmings
That's the spirit!! Blind ****ing faith and hope will see us through to the Promised Land of milk and honey.. and Mbappe!!
Bruce says it looks like it's dead in the water and can we forget out takeovers. He's obviously keen to see the back of it, but I doubt Ashleys told him anything.. He never does. All about this season now if anything itll be at least a season away
My contacts told me the new Burger King campaign starts soon, think I ****ed up somewhere down the line
