****ing feel for you mate, but you’re probably doing the right thing. Get yourself through it and hopefully one of these vaccines hits the mark.

A positive is the weather will start falling off now so less folk out and about anyway, but then you do wonder if it’s another overreaction, cases have rocketed, but deaths remain low and hospital admissions are stable, even falling.

They’ve given us so much contradictory information now that we are all winging it.

He leadership of the ****ing Teletubbies would be an improvement mate.

I got a thing from HMRC today saying I could claim for electricity and such for working from home. What the **** is that about give that money to someone who’s lost their ****ing job because of this **** show. I won’t be claiming.

It’s the same as the dine out thing, only benefits folk with money. The whole thing is beyond incompetence.

On a positive note I’ve had a few cans in happiness at 8-1 and found a blinding 90’s house mix on Spotify, I’ll send you link in Facey as I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I am!

No disrespect to the religious and places of worship, but one of the biggest spreaders of this pandemic and high death rates has come from the church.

So this tweet I feel is quite irresponsible

I have just had my first, first hand experience of the testing system and it is an absolute joke. I tried for hours to get any kind of appointment for a test for a 90 year old who was concerned about symptoms without success. I then tried taking her to the drive through at Doxford International, to find that they had just up sticks and left. There were people turning up there who had booked a slot as well..
And this government are telling us that it is working fine? Bloody ****e.. I have ended up taking this elderly lady's (who just happens to be my mam) temperature myself, which was fine, and will be keeping a close check on her to see if the cough that she was worried about turns into something worse.

    MASSIVE SURGE IN CORONAVIRUS CASES

LOCAL LOCKDOWNS COMING INTO PLAY AS WALES INTRODUCES MASKS IN SHOPS

IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS THE START OF THE SECOND WAVE PREDICTED BACK IN MARCH

oh and by the way hospitalisations and deaths are essentially at zero, with the increase in reported cases apparently due to more expansive testing of the asymptomatic

NOW BACK TO YOU IN THE STUDIO

    FLATTEN

    THE

    CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURVE

Half right.. Nothing to do with the testing which has always been ****e and still is, but definitely less people falling very ill and dying.. Let's hope it stays that way..

41,000 people out of 70,000,000 and that's before we even break down the shoddy methodology for determining what qualifies as a 'Covid' death, and I won't mention the untold damage to society resulting from 'lockdown' and the imposition of some of the most freedom-restricting laws in the history of our ancient nation. Absolute lunacy all round

True death toll from the virus way higher than that.. between February and May, when the virus was at its peak, the average death toll in the UK was well over 60,000 above expected and average. Don't fall for the government hype that they done a good job.. However, the expected second wave does not seem as deadly, so hopefully the virus has weakened naturally..

    Same mate.

You’ve got a prime example of some of the harm it’s doing there, you and the missus both have varied, but valid outlooks, and again that’s because we are human, and the information is processed differently by all, making the lack of any clarity or consistency incredibly devisive.

I don’t buy any of the whoppas calling hoax or whatever, but for sure it’s not what we are told. It’s not routinely killing numbers anymore, despite the absolutely farcical testing.

Dear me, what a mess this is.

I've honestly no idea how bad the virus is, how poor testing has been or whether the virus has mutated.

What I do know is that the government seems to have lost the confidence of the public.

The PM is all 'style' above substance but the daft hair and endless fist pumping is just annoying now.

Of course it’s irresponsible mate. But I’m sure they can all pray the virus away. I mean, it’s worked for all the other diseases in the world along with feeding starving children, prevented child abuse and stopped people killing each other.....but if they can’t then that God bloke certainly moves in them mysterious ways.

Aye, you’ve probably guessed I’m not one of the faithful like. But on a serious note, each to their own. If a bit of religion brings people comfort then be my guest and believe all you want. It’s when it starts interfering with stuff way beyond feeling warm and fuzzy is when I get a bit more vocal. Your post about going to church during the lockdown is one where I have said stuff in the past.

41000 people dead? Not much in the big scheme of things I suppose.
