    Pay what?

I’ve not been fined you ****ing idiot.

I’m merely correcting the bullshit assertion that the fines around COVID for group sizes etc are not enforceable, as they are.

A government office has been fined for health and safety breaches after failing to take adequate steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

An inspection found the management at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) site in Leeds had not done enough to ensure workers could socially distance during the coronavirus pandemic.

Staff were seen congregating around desks talking in contravention of the two-metre guidance, including with a line manager present, while designated two-way routes were found to be too narrow and some communal areas had not been cordoned off.

    Yeah it ain’t.

And I meant the tactics used to try and circumvent the law. Is your mate using that ‘legal name’ loophole ?

It's not a loophole......and the internet is full of court cases where the judge had to walk out because he knows said layman is standing in a more powerful position.

What, you mean people who understand the actual ****ing law? Those people?

    I don’t think it’s bullshit, it’s demonstrably bullshit.

If you get fined you either pay or go to court, there isn’t even an appeal process.

I’ve still got a couple of unpaid fines. Both over 25 years old though. They’re probably a bit better at collecting them now.

So the ‘legal name’ thing then ? The real world is also full of people who have tried this route and ended up losing everything and getting banged up.

It happened to a mate of mine. He thought he was ‘above’ the law and could use this device to circumvent all of the laws. He ended up getting tugged by the old bill because he had no insurance and wasn’t paying road tax. He turned up in court and tried the ‘you can’t touch me because my legal name isn’t anything to do with me’ so the judge lobbed him into custody.

Eventually ended up with his entire history of non payment of council tax, utilities, driving without insurance, skipping court etc and he did an 8 month stretch at Her Majesty’s pleasure.

Yeah, but the factory lads, the ‘true law’ and that letter though.....

I’m still chuckling at the numerous times the actual judge has walked out of court revelation.

No the legal name is nothing to do with this but for the story you gave I could give an opposite but I ain't got the time or need to prove otherwise today..... See you Monday with the opposite story when the layman stays firm the judge fks off and the highest police officials will call end to case..... Dismissed
