Especially now McGeady has lost his number. Parkinson's words in the presser today definitely made it sound like he was explaining why McGeady was going rather than pleading for somebody to come in for him like he used to. Would make sense to wait until Friday as well if that's payday
The person who keeps telling us there is no takeover today lost all credibility when our former head of academy basically confirmed a takeover is happening
He was better than I’d feared he would be but I was alarmed at his performance at the RAWA meeting with Donald and that is still an underlying concern for me so a lot to prove. I don’t know the lad but many who do only have positive things to say about him so I could well be proved wrong, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time...
tbh the interview with Paul Reid, whilst interesting, doesn't prove much at all. He only said "potential takeover" or "potential new owners" or something like that, at a time when the chairman is at least publicly actively trying to sell. I think we all knew back in June that there might be a takeover. None of us knew it might be this close.
