I hope tomorrow's announcement is a takeover,
I bet my lad last week we would be taken over then

 

Yeah I’d be happy with Jones doing what he appears to be doing now in terms of influencing recruitment positively. Not convinced at all by what we have heard from Sloanes personally but don’t know the bloke so jury would be out on him.

I’d be chuffed if O’Brien is getting a senior role and/or Marwood becoming involved as someone on here who has a good reputation mentioned last weekend.

Doubt it will be Methven, I’d think he’d have more important things like health to focus his attention on at the minute. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery but also want him nowhere near our club.

Oh **** yeah, he's Chief Exec. My point still stands. That position will be filled by new owners, there seems little point of the current owners filling it now.

 

Let's hope they change the manager also, someone that has a bit life in him

I'm not sure Mr Fox leaving would be worthy of an "announcement". I don't remember an announcement for him joining.

Im not sure the kit man leaving is worthy of one neither

 

he a director so would be announced surely if he leaving

 

I'm going to make some predictions for what the announcement could be, in order of how likely i think they are

1. New academy manager
2. Dickman leaving as U23 manager (especially if passed up for academy position)
3. Angela Lowes leaving
4. Tom Sloanes leaving
5. Neil Fox leaving
6. New chairman
7. CANS

 

like I say the club never announced him joining, he;s very much been in the background.

 

If it's someone leaving I bloody hope it's Fox. Don't know anything about the bloke, but he's Donald's right hand man, so if he goes I'm going to assume that it's takeover related and that Donald won't be far behind. In terms of significant figures at the club it can't really be anyone else I suppose; Rodwell just arrived, shareholders won't likely go until a sale, Angela Lowes will presumably be here forever. If its Fox I'm taking it as a very positive step
