I wonder if European football will lead to increased Coronavirus cases in the top teams as has been seen when players start to travel for internationals and holidays. This may mean lesser teams have more of a chance.
Isnt that a little dangerous - id **** my pants doing that and would rather take a plane or train. Although if Elon Musk designed the bubble, maybe i'd give it a go.
Love this graphic. An attempt to illustrate how some clubs are in deep **** this year. This is Harry Kane’s potential schedule. A possible 80 matches. Look at the first time we play them. In the same week they have us, a Caribou Kangaroo Cup match and a European tie that could well be away in ****ing Minsk or what have you. Madness. I can’t wait to see what happens.
A few explanations for the coming season, regarding various things. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/footbal...1BsBfLeJKarAdnwfCBZ6D9jcJGMGwZuUOVSLiohuJFBxw
I think this is why the top of the table may be less trivial. I think Man U and Spurs and Wolves, possibly Liverpool may be more stretched than teams like Everton and Southampton and Arsenal.
Bielsa signs one year contract. I know that managers don’t always stick to longer contracts, but one year doesn’t suggest that he intends to stick around. Perhaps just covering all bases in case it doesn’t work out.
Wonderful lunatic that he is, Bielsa has never much cared about job security. If he's still with Leeds through Christmas, it will be the longest (in games managed) that he has managed any club. Chronologically, it's already the longest he has managed a European club.
What do I hope to see this season? Watkins having a great season for Villa and making it into the England squad. All West Midland sides surviving. Fulham and Brighton making fools of everyone's predictions and making the top 10.. SFC improving on last season and getting 60 points. Tammy Abraham coming of age, although he may have to move club to achieve this goal. Leicester would be a great destination for him as the successor to Vardy. Arsenal winning the EL and Sevilla the CL (neither will happen) and Italy winning the Euros in 2021 as it has been a long time since that particular nation has delivered in that tournament.
