Nothing to do with your club but an indication of what Jose can do when needed.
When with us he turned Fellaini into one of our most influential players because he understood and used his limited strengths. When drawing and starting to get over-run he threw him on in midfield to break the opposition play up.
When winning and needing to hold on he stuck him on to defend corners and free kicks, when needing a goal in the last 20mins he stuck him up front to cause chaos in the opposition box which often led to a goal (many by him).
Fellaini was not a starter for most of us but Jose knew how to get what he needed out of him when he needed it.

Yeah for sure, us rival fans gave Fellaini stick but deep down everyone could see he came up with some massive moments for Utd under Jose. Weren’t pretty either but it worked.

Ironically if we’d kept Llorente, Jose would’ve probably loved and used him a lot more than Poch did.

Of some of the names we’ve been linked with, I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if Deeney was someone Jose truly wanted. I think from a personality standpoint he’s what Jose loves - die for the badge type - and his style suits the option to punt the ball up the pitch and “play ugly” if need be.

What about Louis Saha and Ryan Nelson? about our range

They should be available I think, both are without a club

Plus if we get them in...that’s 2 problem positions sorted

England left-back Dany Rose, 30, is set to leave Tottenham and favours a move abroad.

I can hear them in Europe's boardrooms now:

The English Rose is not what she used to be.

See us linked with Brewster in the gossip pages, but only with a buy back agreement. Seems a good prospect and a good backup option to Kane.

    Train him up for Liverpool?

    no thanks

Why send Parrot out on loan if we want to rely on a rookie to save the day once Kane gets injured?

really hope this is not happening

They'll gain the team more PL pts this season by being signed in
the summer rather than the winter transfer window.

Giroud's name has come up yet again

In other irritating news, David Brooks is being linked with a move to Leicester

I still think Giroud would be the perfect understudy to Kane for the upcoming season

instead of someone with the potential to come good in 2026
