I Think this is how I see the table looking come the end of the season... 1. West Ham (Auto) 2. Middlesborough (Auto) 3. Ipswich 4. Cardiff 5. Blackpool or Leicester 6. Hull City Dont see Southampton, Derby or Brighton finishing in top 6
Donny might well survive, they played well second half vs us.. first half they were shyte though.. Parkin & Sharp is a match made in heaven.. they should extend Pie-man's loan..
I think you can now look at sides and gauge who has a decent team based on the latest results and players they've got at the club. I believe that in this division most teams are capable of beating each other on the day but I dont see any problem with people having a bit of fun making an early prediction on who they see been there or there abouts come the end of the season. I think Brighton and Southampton will flop over the coming weeks/months.
West Ham Leicester Southampton Cardiff Middlesborough Derby That's my thought at the moment, though i expect it to change over the season. I think we'll finish about 7th/8th, our lack of goals will probably cost us but we'll wait and see.
It will go two ways for us we will either finish 12th or 6th depending on whether we can find the net, if we can't a nice comfortable 12th which isn't the end of the world, it really is the only thing we need to start doing as a team. If we had that killer instinct god knows where we could be..... Other sides i have seen nothing of so how on earth can i judge?
Of the sides I've seen (Which Includes All Home Games & Some Away Games) I've seen nothing special in the opposition. I thought Blackpool were probably the pick of the bunch for me and will always score goals, bit lucky with their winner against us though.
For once could you try and be serious instead of mocking most peoples posts? I was talking about from 1st place to 6th place not the bottom 6
Mocking? I have an opinion, and in my opinion that's who I think will finish in the top 6. Could you try not to mock my opinions?
midlands I know you too well now fella. Its getting late, bed calling, early night, up in morning then down the pub by dinner then the game, seez you on here tomorrow fella no doubt.
Hull City will finish in the top 6, i think that's all what matters..my dream would be to beat Leeds or Leicester in the play off final.
Every game is so unpredictable, I couldn't tell you who will finish in the top 12, never mind top 6. I reckon we're looking at 5th-9th though.
far far far 2 early 2 say who will be top 6 by th end. brighton are starting to fade already. but i will say now that whoever is in the top 2 after jan 2nd games will be in the top 6 come may. rember 2008, its was not until march/april that the tigers got in there. this season the league is crazy and if say notts forest got there act together and a good run going then they can make it. any of 16 teams can make it. imo, nobody so far has shown they will last the pace.
The only teams I tipped to do well that did'nt was Cardiff who we beat, but I still call Cardiff for a top 6 and then Southampton thumping another relegation side (Watford). Ipswich are still rising as I feel they will continue to do. Donkey Sonko on score sheet for Ipswich today from a Bullard corner. Stick withy me fellas I am convinced we will finish 6th and my other predicted teams in the top 6 still stand, glad I called it this early... 1. West Ham (Auto) 2. Middlesborough (Auto) 3. Ipswich 4. Cardiff 5. Blackpool or Leicester 6. Hull City Derby getting smashed 2-0 against Leicester as we speak, night night Derby, Brighton and Southampton over next 8 weeks. True me !!!
At this stage in 2007 - who would have tipped us to be 3rd in May 2008? Watford were nailed on for automatic, and about 9 points clear by November if I remember right. I have a vague recollection of how their season finished... Way too early to make any predictions...
certinly true, lots can change and wel all probably be wrong nothing wrong with a bit of guessing tho, ive fancieed ipswich since the start, and despite conceding 7 to peterboro, i still think there the ones to watch, bullard, andrews, bowyer , chopra and scotland, and a manager promoted out of this league twice before,.. they will be there or there abouts
