3 centre halves look comfortable, particularly feeny. Diamond looks lively. Our experienced midfield 3 have their slippers on.

 

Improvement on Flanagan on this showing.

 

Definitely, apart from the goal he has tackled well and played a lovely cross field pass to diamond earlier.

was a bit worried by our slow start but once we got hold of the ball for a minute or two we seemed to settle into it...gooch has made up for his miss i think, back to his 'industrious best', got a player in diamond but he has maybe tried one run too many maybe(?) no complaints though as i like to see a player run at defenders, he will learn.

2 goals from corners, scowen really should have floated the ball in from the free kick i think, that first cross from diamond was a peach, looked like he had no chance of getting it over, defence basically solid cant say a lot as they have not had a lot to do, or maybe they are keeping villa at bay.

quite looking forward to 2nd half, get another goal and i think that will be it and we can give DG a run.
