I'm not really arsed about this, but I thought Billy Chadwick looked very good. I can see why Greaves is so highly rated too, shades of Michael Turner about him.

That's what I thought two young sides, a reserve game really however does sound has though we have a few promising youngsters. Young keeper seemed to put his defenders under pressure but don't know about the rest of his game having not seen it.

Robbed, never a penalty in a month of Sunday's. Beaten by schoolboys eh? City's average age was 20. Excellent second half from the young Tigers and a good comeback after going a goal down. Back four looked solid enough especially with a very young keeper making his debut behind them. Alfie and Callum Jones both looked very good and young Greavies reminded me of his old man. Dan Batty was my man of the match and put in a very good captains performance, also Max Sheaf who I never saw put a foot wrong.
Kean Lewis Potter scored a lovely goal from a delightful little cross from sub Billy Chadwick. I wouldn't swop any of Leicester's young un's for any of ours and this result was a travesty, obviously the ref wanted a flyer.
Loads of aggression and will to win in that side, little rusty in places which is to be expected, but all those making their debuts for us played for the shirt.
Festus Arthur is a beast and can certainly tackle but his distribution was a bit iffy. Cannot fault that display and it was cruel to lose it so late on thanks to a dive and a whistle happy ref on a promise.

I admire your devotion to our club, Febbos, but why is a man who lives in a country inhabited by girls that look like Britt Ekland spending his evening posting about Accrington Stanley's performance in the first round of the Football League Trophy? I can only assume that you are clinically insane

Maybe because they are all drooling over guys who were born in Hull and now live in London?

Watched the live stream having recognised that Ehab needs my tenner more than I do. The positives first ; KLP we all know about him. He's a threat when he gets the service. Nothing else to add. Callum Jones looked good and our best player IMHO. Impressed by namesake Alfie. He could turn out to be a good acquisition. We'll see as this was little more than a glorified u23 fixture. Martin Samuelsen - indescribably poor, but then when has he been anything else? Billy Chadwick came on for him after an hour + and his impact was immediate putting a lovely cross in for KLP to level the score. Sheaf - what is the fuss about with him? Another pedestrian showing from him. Cartwright on his debut. I've never been one to pull the wings off butterflies and don't wish to start with a young lad starting out but he looked like he's always looked when I've seen him before.Shaky in extreme in a game where in fact he had very little to do. it's a shame but he looks dodgy at any level. A real pity for the lad. I wonder even more about McCan't putting him in.

Probably a couple of 35 year old plodders from the first team who skewed the figures

Greaves plays like his old man did. I wouldn't want to be in a 50/50 tackle with him. He's also strong in the air, like his dad was, which at League 1 level makes him a decent player. Unfair to say he was awful for 30 mins, also the post about our young goal keeper is a bit harsh. I have underpants older then him. Give the lad a chance FFS.
