On the subject of anxiety. I heard today from my eldest daughters (stressed) friend that she'll be threatened with a fine if she doesn't allow her youngster to get back into school. Given what's happening I find this threat to parents quite extreme given the reality of what is happening. Whether to attend class should be a parental decision not the schools.
Well put across mate, I think at the beginning the government did a decent job, in light of an unknown terror virus. However, as time has progressed it's turned into an utter shambles.
My wife has some medical issues going on, I would actually feel quite confident in legally fighting the imposed punishment if I decide to keep the grandbairn of school. I mean, it's potentially a life or death situation. Nobody has any guarantees.
I'm watching the BBC news and just now they are reporting an earthquake in Leighton Buzzard and there wasn't a single person wearing a face mask out on the streets and people are wondering why new cases of Covid19 are going up and up. Wearing masks slows down the spread of Covid, we are all still wearing the buggers over here and I will continue to even if the Government says there is no need to. I feel safer wearing one but I also still try to keep a distance from people when outside.

I recall the PM asking people to get out and get the country moving. They were encouraged to use public transport, eat for cheap, go to pubs and socialise. Now we're being told people are irresponsible for socialising. It doesn't seem too clear imo.

Appreciate that mate and i feel for your quandary, if the kids are healthy it will hurt their education not attending but given your condition does the gov not help in cases like yours with private education or an online curriculum which you can give the kids to follow for home tuition, also how do you cope with exercise and sport for the kids mind boggling
She’s only been back three days, we will see what solutions they come up with tomorrow. It’s been horrible mate, sat in a room on my own for 5 month, sleeping on my own, using one toilet on my own, not able to hug the kids, 1 had a birthday, only in July did my consultant say you can go in the garden for 20 mins on your own daily then August 1st came and I could stop shielding so I instantly took the dog out, terrifying to see other people and have to walk past them, little steps, and then we went to Alton towers on the first night I vomited with anxiety coz joe public are thick as a prison wall mate, 80% couldn’t follow blatant floor markings you turn around and somebody is in your back pocket and have to tell them the markings are for social distancing and to back off, it was 14 days yesterday and now this today I’m sure I’m gonna crack up

Rock and a hard place this like. Got to keep some form of social distancing on the go to prevent infection rates going up and got to minimise social distancing to get the economy going up. That's going to have to be some balancing act to pull off.
