    FORMATION PORN TIME AGAIN YES!

    ------------------Darlow
    Manquillo-Lascelles-Fernandez-Lewis
    --------------Hayden-Hendrick
    Almiron--------Longstaff-----------ASM
    -------------------Carroll>

Gilespie, Yedlin, Lejuene, Shelvey? Fraser, Muto, Wilson<

Fraser and Wilson on the bench as they'll have 3/4 days training with the boys - maybe Wilson to start as he's been training and playing for Bournemouth preseason but Fraser hasn't played since March so a non starter I'd imagine. Lewis is the only fit LB and was due to play for NI the otherday so I presume he's match fit. What i would say is that there are options on the bench without the injured lot...

Not even started the season and we have 7 out injured at present hence I think that's pretty much the only squad we can put out - Shelvey on the bench because I don't think he's played yet in preseason but not on the injury list if he's not involved get Barlaser in:
    Dubravka
    Schar
    Dummy
    Clark
    Ritchie
    Longstaff
    Gayle

Sorry, but is there any justifiable reason you can provide for having picked the worst side possible at your disposal?

I'm sure you are being humorous right?

    But just incase...

Pretty sure I've been clear as to why I've selected that line up - there is absolutely no one else to pick!?

And I've even selected Lewis who doesn't belong to us yet.

Just to go through why they are on the bench so we are clear:
Darlow or Gillespie - flip a coin,
    Lejuene hasn't played in 6-9months,
Manquillo over Yedlin, (Yedlin may start RB if Lewis isn't signed and in the squad)
Shelvey hasn't been seen or heard of in the last few weeks to my memory.
Fraser and Wilson are new, with the former having not played since March and neither having had more than 3/4 days training.
    Muto on the way out,

7 injured, 7 subs from 25 registered leaves.... 11 players to start + maybe Barlaser if Shelvey has used a Disillusionment Charm and gone full Voldemort on us.

For anyone else's reasons why they are in/out the starting please see the above post.

Unless you want Atsu, Murphy, Saviet, Aarons Lazaar included?

Showed you mine now lets see yours ...

Of course it was humour mate

Tbh without Dubravka they're more than likely getting beat... They won't have the ball and every shot of note West ham have on target will be a goal conceded, but if they're going to travel to the other end of the country they might aswel play their best players.

No way should Carroll or Longstaff be anywhere near the starting 11 and shelvey will start unless by some miracle he's sold and replaced

    Nicked from NUFC.com

Following pressure from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, MPs and The Football Supporters' Association, it appears that all Premier League games will be available on UK live TV - at least this month.

Confirmation of that decision is anticipated to appear on Wednesday, which will allow Newcastle fans to watch their opening trio of games - none of which were in the original live TV selection.

However it's possible that in order for that to happen, further changes to the fixture list will occur - notably kick-off times (there are unconfirmed claims that this Saturday's trip to West Ham may no longer be a 3pm start).

I don't think it matters that much what time the kick off is as it will not effect fans travelling etc.
the players know what the score is, it's their job to play when called upon
This would at least allow us to watch the game without resorting to dodgy internet channels

All Premier League matches to be televised in September

Steve Bruce’s side were set to take on the Hammers at 3pm on Saturday, but that game has now been put back with kick-off now set for 8pm – and the match will be shown live on Sky Sports.

It will be the Magpies’ fourth visit to the ground in Stratford since the Hammers’ move from Upton Park in 2016, with Newcastle having won on two of their three previous visits to the London Stadium. Goals from Federico Fernández, Ciaran Clark and Jonjo Shelvey sealed a 3-2 victory in the capital last term.

Meanwhile, Bruce’s side’s first home league game of the campaign against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday, 20th September will remain a 2pm kick-off, but will now also be shown live on Sky Sports.

And Newcastle’s final league game of the month at Tottenham Hotspur – which is currently scheduled for Saturday, 26th September at 3pm – will also be televised and could also be subject to change, pending further confirmation.
