It's quite interesting, never seen a squirrel actually beg for water before. Closest I've ever come to seeing a squirrel beg, was in an American Theme Park, it was as tame as that one, but wanted food rather than a drink. I suppose because it's natural habitat had been destroyed, it has adapted to it's new environment and with plenty of humans about, it makes sense. Albeit if that was monkies, they wouldn't be begging, they'd just steal it from you. Squirrels generally appear quite clever though, especially when it comes to raiding bird feeders.
