There was a game on the megadrive, it was a bomber and crew doing sorties against Adolf, you had to take control of navigation, gunnery etc. Appalling graphics but strangely gripping. Can't remember the title name.
Its still very useful as a media box if you don't play games on it anymore. Ive been hoping for ages that they get a steam app on there so you can play pc games like football manager on the xbox. Disgraceful that you can't get football manager on console tbh I didnt until I looked but yeh please log in to view this image
The Sky Go thing is daft, "Do you want to pay £5 a month for HD?" No thanks mate you give it out free on your own app. HD should just be standard on everything now.
Im sure netflix has something similar for 4k? I know the itv hub has an option to watch everything ad free for about 3quid a month.
Cant beat a good racing game, I remember getting forza motorsport with my xbox one x and hooking it up to the 4k telly and being pretty impressed with the improvement. Used to love a racing game on the 360 called blur, but like Mario kart but not.
It was class, Delta or Celica and then you unlocked the Stratos if you completed all 3 tracks. The Saturn was such a sick machine because loads of its games were ripped clean off Arcade Machines, Virtua Cop, Sega Rally, Daytona USA, Virtua Fighter etc.
You know you can buy these emulator things, often loaded with 1000s of games. My mate got one last year paid £100 for it, I **** you not it has a list of consoles, like all of em, and then in those lists pretty much all games for that console. Its pretty fukin good tbh
I haven’t seen a Saturn emulator yet, apparently something with the way it was wired into the tele. Anyway they’re always **** when you revisit them, I had an N64 one once and it was depressing as ****, as I’m sure Sega Rally would be after spending months playing Dirt 4.
ive started playing it again with my 5 year old...been at it a few months now very educational...he’s learned a lot of big words from it he’s also learned that just because the symbol is a big shoe...you can’t buy shoes there best thing is he’s picked up a good taste in music, Westside Classics is his favourite radio channel...i used the same method with my eldest boy back in the day so I know it works
Which one you going for? With me I’ll have to wait till my son decides what he wants...then I’ll get the same He won’t decide till he knows what his mates are getting odds suggest it will be the X Box tbh but we shall see
Ill go for the big one when it comes down to about £250/300 I've got the one x so no rush for me really.
Lost of games are going to be cross platform play anyway mate, especially the shooters if he's into them. Apex legends has gone that way, and I think war zone, PlayStation, xbox and pc players can all play each other
What’s the difference, if it’s just hard drive then probably the washing machine one. If it’s power or anything else then I’ll take the black shed.
