Kieran Tierney, the best defender in the prem has been dropped, turns out he's not the best defender in Scotland
Chelsea owe Abramovich over a billion quid, their recent net spends are irrelevant. Also, how many of these net spend lists have been compiled using reported transfer fees including add ons that never got paid. For eg, it was reported Coutinho cost Barcelona around £140m including around £50m in add ons, Pool will end up receiving nowhere near the reported amount, as most of the add ons will unlikely be triggered, it is part of the reason why Coutinho has been sent out on loan.
Everyones net spend is irrelevant I watch for the sport, not for the ****ing accounting. I couldnt give a **** who has spent what.
Since you have to pay £1B back to Abramovich if he gives 18 months notice, it could be sooner than you think.....
Everton completed the James Rodriguez deal. Could prove one of the signings of the summer if he finds his feet.
The distortion caused before FFP came into play can never be reversed but I think its effects will become less with time at least if it's policed properly. Not sure how the loan from Abramovich managed to increase so much recently though, nor why.
Yeah, if they have a bad start to the season i can see him putting that in motion come December. Bankrupting your own club would be a smart business decision, no money back and **** all to sell
He wouldn't do it if he had a choice, but there are plenty of scenarios when it might be outside his control.
Indeed, maybe he'll be short of a few quid! And of course we'd have so much trouble finding a new owner, and of course no bank would loan a billion pounds to a business that turns over half a billion a year. Madness!! Maybe Roman will be on the next episode of "If you can't pay, we'll take it away"
