Off Topic The Burly Arms

Where I live now mate.

My job requires the Lingo - so I'm happily speaking it most days.

 

Oh yeah, that's right Finland.

I couldn't live in a Scandanavian Country, all very nice, but far too cold for me!

I'd miss home as well. Hence why I'd only move within Europe if I ever did, easier to get back home more frequently if need be.

 

Still miss the rollmops and brown cheese for brekkie...

Aah happy days

 

Used to frequent Dickens pub on the harbour most nights and there was a banging restaurant next doorish that did great steaks etc.

Are they still there ?

This was about 30 years ago I guess.

 

Brown cheese is underrated, and I am a hater of cheese.

But the unsung hero of food is pinnekjøtt. I honestly love the Christmas food here, it makes up for the rest of the christmas traditions being ****ing gash

 

Hahaha dickens IS still there. But its one of Stavangers few 18 year old bars (the rest being 21+) so its usually ****ing PACKED with 18 year olds. Queue goes round the block to the burger king
