ME putting 2+2 Today Newcastle are signing B/Mth players, good luck with that. They also wanted to sign Rob Holding from Arsenal on loan Well I believe we have spoken to Arse and enquired about Holding again because we offered to buy him not loan him and greedy Arsenal wanted more cash. We refused so Arsenal accepted a loan move with Newcastle with a huge loan fee. Arsenal need new players and need cash, so our enquiry stopped and delayed the loan to Newcastle. leeds have now put pressure on boy wonder in Croatias club Dynamo Zagreb and told them we are signing a CB this week will it be yours or Arsenals?
Really hope it’s Zagreb’s player we sign. Don’t want an Arsenal reject, and he’s not all that anyway.
Would imagine that the clubs would like the broadcasters to stump up more money (for more matches) which they will use to repay the fans. The broadcasters are probably refusing and saying we have a contract for exclusive UK rights and therefore you can't show any matches ppv via your own platforms. It will need a compromise solution but the clubs stand to lose the most as Sky, BT & Amazon know interest will he higher in the games they show without fans in stadiums and therefore are probably quite relaxed about the current situation. Whereas the EFL have a different agreement with Sky having had the ifollow service in use for a few years now.

Best statement of the day from the very very intelligent Kevin Blackwell I wish I was Bielsa and taken Leeds up Genius
With the new season so close I've been looking back at our record. We're the 7th best PL team by ppg. This led me to dig further back and the disappointment of 1969/70 where we were going for the treble but too many games in too few days put paid to all of it. I'm mentioning this because I didn't know that the crowd for the return leg of the semi final of the European Cup, that had been switched to Hampden Park, is the largest ever for a UEFA tie. It won't be beaten. Who says we're not a big club? To think going in to that game we hadn't conceded a goal in our first year in the European Cup. If only Norman Hunter (RIP) would have played. I envy those who remember it.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to watch the match on Saturday in the City Centre? Tried a few places and everywhere is fully booked already
