Play Dallas at left back and Douglas in reserve. The new kid would be a direct replacement for Berardi. A stand in centre back who can also play out wide. Struijk/Koch will deputise for Phillips when he is banned with the Croat stepping in if he needs to. Dallas was awesome last year and deserves his chance. Douglas has been in and out with injuries but was MOM in the match against Blackburn in his last full game. They have earned the chance to start the season. Not a direct dig at you Doc, just using the quote as a reference due to the amount of drivel spouted since.
He's 18, just got a move to a Premier League club, he'll have to get used to Bielsaball and the step up in class. He can wait a few months or until he proves himself. It's not exactly the business end of the Champions league and if that's the case we should play the lad (Charlie Allen?) from Linfield as they were a Champions League club when we pinched him. He'll have to prove he is worthy of being picked. If he does, fair play to him. FWIW I hope he is our best CB this season and Cooper moves out of there. Cooper has been the most improved player the last couple of seasons for me but I can't see him being a long term bedrock to build our defence around. Shame because he seems to epitomise the team spirit.
Darren Bent is as Thick as a dew more pundits as today he wants to know why Leeds haven't signed Benrhama well Darren when his club want £25m for him and he wants £100k per week and he thinks hes so cool that he videos himself getting a haircut next to his pool.... why would we when we can buy a full International who has played at the top. Darren fk off your stealing a wage mate
Morning all. I think the signings have been really positive. Quality young players with huge potential. Bielsa has a record of improving the players who buy in to his ethic so we could really pull some trees up this year. I can't wait for Saturday. I hope everyone is realistic about what we face. The Fulham game is the key to show us where we are but by the end of October we will know what our chances are. Fulham, Wolves, Villa, Sheff Utd and Leicester before then. Come on! Football's coming home.
What's the story with LUTV this season, are all the games live for season ticket holders again and ppv.
Afraid not... As it stands we won’t be able to view matches not shown live by Sky, BT or Amazon. Apparently there is another meeting about it this week. It’s a disgrace but thank god for illegal streams I hear you say
I really thought all matches not shown on Sky would be available on ppv whilst fans aren’t allowed in. Was looking forward to it tbh
