Well summed up. If terry doesn’t cut it I would be on the phone to Nigel Adkins pronto as we have a decent promotion contender team here with the right tweaking
Good luck with that. By all means give it a try, but I doubt Nigel will listen to you. Even less chance if it's Enob that's ringing him. Big mistake them losing Adkins, and a damn shame us having to see him go.
OK and? You have had in the past and now the option to go online to get live stream or audio through Tigers TV. There are a number people who now have no way whatsoever to watch or listen to the games whatever the price.
Nope never had free Radio Humberside commentary. Outside of the broadcast area, no one has. The option to listen for free doesn’t exist and never has. It’s £4.99 per month to listen to the game online or was. Whilst I appreciate your point, the fact is that it is too rabbit in the box. No one who is effected will read your post will they? Unless someone who cares, shows them on their computer... ooh problem solved! Lack of sympathy, no because no one ever gave a **** about the thousands of supporters who have never been able to listen to live radio commentary outside of the broadcast area of local radio stations, but now all of a sudden it affects the locals. Selfish ****ers.
I replied to your post, you know that one that you said “you had it in the past”, well no, I ****ing didn’t and neither did anyone else who lived in a different part of the country to the team they support.
I never said you had it for free. You have the internet, there was an option open to you to watch or listen to games. Those with no internet, mainly old people now have no way to see or listen to the games. Read the words before you start ranting.
Whether you had it in the past or not is irrelevant, it’s still a hugely ****ish trick to pull on older generation local supporters who have undoubtedly tipped tens of thousands into the club over the decades, only to be cut off completely now if they don’t have internet access or a spare tenner.
"You have had in the past" "I suggest you spend a bit of time to go back and read the posts on this thread more carefully." . Before the club introduced it, there was no way to listen to a live Hull City match unless it was on Radio 5, if like me you lived outside of the broadcast area. You said that I had, but I have never been able to listen to Radio Humberside live during a game without paying for it, internet or not. You see the bigger picture isn't that the club is optimising access rights in their favour, I do not agree with the policy, but having endured years of it, not because a club imposed the restriction, but because of the FA and PLs rules. I don't have sympathy with those who have now lost the joy of listening to the game on the radio, how could I as I envy the years that they had it, but never once did they jump up and say "that poor old ****er The Omega Man, should be able to listen for free, just like I do, you know what, I'm that upset, I'm going to say something online!" Oh and by the way I don't do rants.
OK TOM this is where it all began. Large Elephants post. To which I replied with this. You replied to me with this.
I don't have free commentary from Radio Humberside, why didn't you say something about it before! Your misuse of ONS statistics led me to respond. You took a simple headline figure of 5m without breaking it down into the component parts needed for proper debate. Let me explain..... My wife is over 65 and she is in the 100% who have never been able to listen to their local team on the radio if they live outside of the broadcast area. If you want statistics 96% of households in the UK have internet connectivity. Meaning that only 4% of the 90,000 over 65's in the Radio Humberside broadcast area have no internet access. So after many minutes of calculations, I have worked out that the total number of people aged over 65 who cannot access the internet and listen to the games on the radio is: 42
