I'd genuinely never heard of kittens mittens until everyone starting saying he was his alias a few weeks ago :D

I'm fairly convinced some folk will claim nowt was happening last year either even though it was reported in the press as pretty much a done deal, Ross was introduced to the 'new owners' and many t-shirts were printed. What changed, I have no idea. Don't really care. But to think nowt is happening now doesn't make sense.

It's been reported by Barnes, Don wants to leave and FFP are in the driving seat because of the loan. A few posters have said it's being revisited and we also have the comedy effect of Jacka Storey bouncing all ower twitter in a knock off replica top desperately trying to be taken seriously. I can't get my head wrapped round the idea nothing is happening and no meetings have taken place about any sort of takeover.

For my money, I expect us to have at the very least a new majority shareholder who has the funds to help develop us over the long term and doesn't just see us as an easy flip.

Aye, I know that. I'd thought FPP must have had the EFL checks last year but hadn't seen it mentioned anywhere at the time. It was more along the lines of there we go, another bit of info that this deal was pretty much done last year as you don't need EFL checks to make a loan to the club. A loan which Don claimed he didn't need, which is a weird sort of loan to have imo.

But this is the internet mate. If you’re right you can come on here and say told you so. If you’re talking bollocks then you just disappear off into the ether never to be heard of again.

So you're saying everything you posted is from a source that you deem credible and it isn't just your own opinion.

    This is quite true.

People join, make all kinds of claims then vanish ...

... it happens all the time.

They never have actual mates on here, stick to one particular thread, don't talk about the matches, etc.

After a while you see these patterns and spot the wums without really trying.

    Not quite.
There's been talk about a shift around, ie Sartori becoming major stakeholder rather than Donald.

    Show Menmmmmm
"The three little kittens, they lost their mittens,"
    BY MOTHER GOOSE
The three little kittens, they lost their mittens,
    And they began to cry,
"Oh, mother dear, we sadly fear,
That we have lost our mittens."
"What! Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!
Then you shall have no pie."
    "Meow, meow, meow."
"Then you shall have no pie."

The three little kittens, they found their mittens,
    And they began to cry,
"Oh, mother dear, see here, see here,
For we have found our mittens."
"Put on your mittens, you silly kittens,
And you shall have some pie."
    "Purr, purr, purr,
Oh, let us have some pie."

The three little kittens put on their mittens,
And soon ate up the pie,
"Oh, mother dear, we greatly fear,
That we have soiled our mittens."
"What, soiled your mittens, you naughty kittens!"
    Then they began to sigh,
    "Meow, meow, meow,"
    Then they began to sigh.

The three little kittens, they washed their mittens,
And hung them out to dry,
"Oh, mother dear, do you not hear,
That we have washed our mittens?"
"What, washed your mittens, then you're good kittens,
But I smell a rat close by."
    "Meow, meow, meow,
We smell a rat close by."

There is clearly a thirst for information in reference to takeover talks. We all want a takeover to happen. How that happens will likely be semantics in terms of percentages etc.

However, it is going to be important that everyone remains positive and open when discussing these aspects.

I have put what I can, mostly across the road, before I started to post on here. I know that I have spoken to some prominent posters from this board, away, in real life. I would like to think that they have appreciated the info and its been very accurate thus far.

As the thirst increases, its important that no exaggeration is made. The talks are very much active and progressing as per the updated schedule. Exact specifics that some want are simply not attainable, if they were, they would not be getting posted on any forum.

I would envisage another update at the end of the week. Lets hope it follows the same trajectory as previous ones and remains positive!
