We've gotta lose players think the squads will hit above 25 after Wilson Lewis Fraser. I'll be hoping to see yedlin move because it would suggest they'll bring in a rb... There's loads of **** to get rid of
Pretty long list for me: Schar, Lejeune, Yedlin, Kraft, Atsu, Muto, Murphy, Saivet, Lazaar, Aarons, Ritchie - that's 11 players. If we think wishfully but realistically: Dubravka, Gillespie, Darlow Manquillo, Tomiyasu, Lewis, Dummett, Clark, Lascelles, Fernandez, Marcao Hayden, Hendricks, Shelvey, S Longstaff, M Longstaff, ASM, Almiron, Fraser, Lozano, Joelinton Wilson, Brewster, Carroll, Gayle My big concern there is centre of midfield. We still look like a relegation candidate in the centre of the park to me. I like Hendricks, I think he's a solid signing. But to me we are still in the same situation, we lack real quality in the holding and ball playing positions to really compete in the PL. Ideal world we'd sell Hayden and Shelvey and sign two proper players in there who could go straight in the first team. Instead of worrying about full backs too much, we need to consider that Manquillo and Dummett have already proved capable at the level. So even in back up to any new guys we have quality. In the midfield I'm not convinced by us and its the single most important area of a football team in my opinion.
Definitely wishful thinking. Expect Holding rather than Marcao. Krafth will be Given a second season. Btw I think Matty is still under 21 so doesn’t count in the 25.
If that happened then the clubs changing hands or changed.. At present it's good work, but not going to change anything in terms of the objective..
Sound like it'll be these 4 then maybe a couple of loans If the loans are good players it's good work.
Fine margins, though - both Longstaff's have shown glimpses of PL potential. Shelvey has been better when not doing the counter-attacking "quarterback" bollocks. Hayden's ok for a DM. Bruce has signed Hendrick so although there's a lot of questions over CM, there's no chance we're signing players there. What we, and every, team needs is a version of Fernandinho, Gueye, Kante or Ndidi. Deliberately mentioned two players that Leicester signed from relative obscurity to prove that a) it's a vital position to progress your team, and b) it's achievable even on a limited budget. I've no idea who there is out there who fits that bill, mind! I presume we'll stick with Hayden, try to reinvent Schar, or look at Matty as an option?
The Longstaffs are both useless.. What makes it worse is the fact they'll get away with it because they're local. Sean longstaff was so bad last year he should never play another game... I've seen players get chased out the club after one or 2 bad games.... Sean in particular is going to keep hanging around like a bad smell for years and years
