Even if offered I think Bruce might be the type of guy that only buys British potatoes

You'd think it's either holding loan or Regario 12.5 as reported...

Nah if you look back he is pretty open to anything. He's also open to a maverick unlike say Rafa was. But that obviously comes with risk too. Rafa liked ultra professional guys who would follow instruction. Bruce doesn't mind a bad boy and thinks he can get them ticking. Sometimes that's worked out brilliant. He got a great tune out of Dugarry. Not so much with HBA but he was a lost cause at that stage and fat as ****. There will be other examples who haven't worked though, and as entertaining as it can be, Rafa's way is far safer if less exciting. As a fan I'd rather be a bit less risk adverse, but that's just because I want entertainment more than results.

Then you had the likes of Palacios, Figueroa, Rodellega. So he will scour far and wide. He's also not too proud to take assistance or information either. Supposedly Palacios and Figueroa were Arsene Wenger targets who he recommended Bruce have a look at.

So Bruce will go where the market allows him, but he seems to understand that having a british nucleus is a proven formula. Its nothing new that, its something the likes of Bobby Robson, KK, SAF etc etc all knew and used. He seems pretty decent at finding capable ones too. If we look where Maguire and Robertson are now we can see he must have decent scouts, and be decent at picking through the options.

    Managing them however...

If we get these done it's pretty much what the club should be doing every season, but right now nufc fans are like starving ethiopians that have been thrown a cracker. It'll be interesting seeing what happens over the remaining weeks.

If nufc start signing players like Lozano even on loan then the futures looking brighter if you ask me.

I went with Holding Loan. I wanted to go with Bridging Loan but he wasn't on the list.

That suggests either Dummett is unwanted, or more likely Bruce sees him as a centre back. Personally I see him in the same camp as Schar, Lejeune, more suited to a 3

Are we going to Bruce’s 3-5-2 so you think? I always thought we’d move to 4231 Not sure how ASM and Fraser fit into 352.
