Ireland - what a load of **** they are. Been whining and whining to get rid of Mick McCarthy and now they're even ****ter than they were before.
Not watched them but Havertz is gonna be some signing for them ****s. I don’t think many folk understand just how good he is going to be. Their defence is utter dogshit inc their keeper though, and they have Flank ****lard so they ain’t gonna win the league.
Never seen him play tbh but Pulisic is a baller too. Was pissed they got him as he would've been perfect understudy to Mane and Salah, perfect age too. Going by the window you'd have to say the chavs will finish 3rd but as you say it's unlikely it'll all come together overnight and Frank's a baby in terms of management. Obviously I'm hoping they lay in 8th by Xmas and he gets sacked off
Thiago Silva could prove to be an inspired signing for them imo. I know he’s 35 now, but he could well provide the experience and marshalling they need at the back. Werner will bag 20+ in the league imo, he’s class.
Yeah most of their business has been good. Silva could be good but it depends on his stamina for me, he could gas with a congested fixture list. All teams at the top are getting stronger so I’d imagine it will be a much tougher league this season, Klopp might be in for a rude awakening.
The RS haven’t strengthened and that’s never a recipe for success, not least because the players already there can get complacent. All top sides bring in at least one first teamer a season, and top players expect it. They’ll still be in and amongst it like, but they’re not going to come close to their points total of the last 2 years imo.
You can tell that already from their 2020 form. They’re weakening, Van Dijk isn’t the monster that turned up anymore. I think they could do big things with Thiago mind, so hopefully we snatch him from under their dirty beaks.
Thiago is quality, but if he comes he’ll merely be a replacement for Wjinaldum. They’ve lost 6 of their last 15 competitive games in all comps, since the middle of Feb. Their ‘invincible’ dream was left in tatters, they started leaking goals, and they needed to strengthen again this summer. Werner was nailed on, but the Sherman’s refused to pay the fee and his wages. If they don’t start particularly well, the natives will soon turn on the Yanks.
The rumour is that Ole has spoken to Thiago a few times now and his head has started to turn. If we stop them signing him then expect them to go ballistic... meltdowns bigger than anything football has ever seen.
Liverpoor Fiverpool Spent the last 12 months chatting **** to MBappe and Werner on Twitter. End up giving Shaqiri a new Conny.
