I did have a look around and found somewhere he had sold most of his businesses when he started being political. I thought he was close to being a billionaire then heard rumours he wasnt. Still, I'm sure hes got more wedge than Donald.
We also had to pay a 6 figure sum for our recent signing from the Swiss club...I think the new owners must be pulling Donald's strings...

After expanding the company into oil and energy it grew to have assets of over $1billion before he then sold it to the management team. He remains executive chairman at the company.
My thoughts exactly. We've previously never looked to recruit outside of the current domestic league structure, then all of a sudden we start splashing the cash on overseas prospects. Either SD has totally changed his strategy in a last attempt to get us up, or more likely, there are other people influencing the way the club operates.

I expect Rodwell and Jones. I'm sure I saw somewhere that Rodwell is a bit more into using data and things when recruiting, and Jones will be more new school than Parkinson as well. I see over the road madbob is saying everyone is wrong , something might happen on Friday but it's nothing like what has been mooted. Sounds like he's suggesting it's not Fuhrman or FPP or any of the options noted thus far. The way he was saying it wasn't a takeover previously I imagine he'd be hinting at just Sartori, or something along those lines, but he's so cryptic it's almost impossible to tell
There are some very respected posters saying this takeover is a goer but there are some equally decent posters saying they’ve heard it isn’t. I want to believe of course I do, but I have respect for some of the posters who say it’s a no no. I hope the yes vote wins
