    You're probably right. There were some what I'd call surprising omissions yesterday though - Success, Masina and Janmaat (unless he's still injured) spring to mind, none of whom have been really actively linked with transfers out the way Capoue, Kiko and Welbeck have.
    Am still surprised that Navarro was given some game time yesterday - I thought he wanted away too.

    I think Success might be injured and I presume Janmaat must still be!

    Based on yesterday I cannot see either lasting in the high tempo style we seemed tm emply.

    You'd wonder if all these players will go because atm the moment it's all a bit in limbo.

    We probably want to bring players in but cannot until others move on.

    That may explain why the Perica transfer has gone quiet - although Sierralta played yesterday and his signing is yet to be announced.

    Adam Masina's absence on Saturday has been explained - it seems that he has a tendon injury and will be out until November.

    You know what is the real shame IMHO is the increasing involvement and influence that Giraldi appears to have on team selection and player affairs. I know to a level that his job description probably covers these elements a little, but he does seem to go way beyond this remit, and maybe this could even be classed as interference.
    Why is he not reporting this through official channels etc to the Fans instead of blurting it to Italian media?

    I personally don't rate him, and feel that he offers nothing to the club other than causing acrimony...if he left tomorrow it would not be a day too soon.

    He wasn't coming to take over. He replaced another guy who left. The position is different and reports to Giraldi
