I’m very positive thank you. That’s why I want change. I don’t accept continuous mediocrity like you and some of the others on here of late. You can, but it’s not for me, I like progression.

 

Well yeah, but given how fragile the Allams are with criticism, he was always going to tread carefully.

 

Just because I refuse to cling onto negativity and can occasionally take my allam/grant hating blinkers off doesn't mean I accept mediocrity. I saw positives today from a game I watched every minute of, not many.... But they where there.

HT2... we didnt win the game, we drew the game and were lucky to do so.... and as GLP says, the next 46 games will not be decided on penalties.... but "lets see where we are then".. the positive is that the defence didnt look totally at sea,,.

Tend to agree to a point regards Burns involvement and reporting on city, I've never really understood why RH use a part-time reporter(part-time in the sense its not his day job) to cover city, were as the other clubs in the area get what appears to be a full time sports reporter covering them, even the HDM use a full time sport reporter.

I few people on this thread seem
to hate Burnsy because he doesn’t go in hard on the allams on the rare interviews he gets.

Yet if any city supporter makes one negative comment on the allams the same people jump up making cock slurpy excuses and smarmy ****e remarks. Odd world.

 

I think burns assessment of the game was bang on, some of the new players looked better than we had, but on the whole the team was no better and we’ll soon have the new players down to that standard.
I like burnsy, I like his recent interviews with McCann, I also think he could go to town on Ehab a bit more but we (most) understand why he doesn’t. However we’ve ended up with that outcome anyway.

I also wonder if it’s because burns doesn’t quite grasp the financial side fully and is why he doesn’t press Ehab as much. If he’s not confident then he doesn’t want to go to deep with it as Ehab will tie him up with bullshit.
So why doesn’t Ehab do any interviews with the national journalist, IMO it’s because they have nothing to lose and will take him to task and might understand the financial side a touch more, Ehab can’t have them over a barrel.
Talksport could interview him when Simon Jordan’s on, that would be interesting....Ehab won’t
A few years ago Colin Murray wanted to interview the Allams......we are still waiting.

I think i have discovered Grants tactic for the season.....
never mind that silly 90 mins of playtime - lets just practice penalties from now on.

 

The game was drawn. We progressed because the tie was decided on a penalty shoot out.




Which we won.

 

We were also both ****e and better than the end of last season. These things don’t all have to be binary do they?
