The EFL have reached a ground-breaking deal with Sky Sports that will enable clubs in all three divisions to stream every match next season live on their websites. Season-ticket holders will get access to their side's home matches free of charge and more casual fans will be able to watch every game — including Saturday 3pm kick-offs for the first time — for a fee of around £10.
No idea what's happening with International Streaming, I'm assuming I'll just see a charge on my card one of these days..
In that case one option City ‘kindly’ offered season ticket holders if home games are cancelled is happening anyway. Vouchers for Tigers Leisure it is then...
I'm 65+ so, 8 months x £19.50 = £156 12 months x £19.50 = £234 without hassle v 23 games x £10 = £230 but there could be some games on Sky and I may actually go to the games in the south east
Living in London makes it enticing. It's a pity you can't save them when going to matches. I always like to look at a televised match after I attend.
All home league games will be available to stream free of charge to membership holders. Makes sense. A tenner per match to stream away matches and cup ties. https://www.hullcitytigers.com/hull-city-fixtures-available-for-online-streaming/
A lot around the country no doubt will. Especially clubs with big fanbases. The £10 charge is an EFL decided amount all clubs must charge.
Paying £10 to see your team play is good value. I might travel to a few less than I was planning to but I'll still go to the south east matches.
Good point. If they’re free as per deal with Sky, can the club say your membership fee is going towards the stream.
The first Hull City League home game of the season is 13 days away. It's about time the club let membership holders know what the free streaming arrangements are - or are they changing their minds and going back to suspending monthly payments?
There’s still their option of a splendid voucher for the club shop on the table. I emailed the club to ask which they would do, their answer a week ago was that...they didn’t know yet. Complex subject obviously I thought they’d already announced free streams to Members though? Having said that the announcement went into some maths equation that showed that each game cost £17. So your free stream is £10 of that, so presumably they’re just planning what colour they want to £7 Tigers Leisure vouchers printing in?
