Think the tide is definitely beginning to shift, I'm seeing it with people at work all the time now.

People keep talking about this second wave in winter. Is this the same as the second wave that was coming after the VE day parties? Or the second wave after everyone packed out beaches in May? Or the second wave after the BLM protests?

Don't get me wrong Winter may well be different with the flu season but lots of grim predictions simply haven't come to pass.

Think most people realise now that it's been hugely overblown in the media and the so called deadly virus is only deadly for a very small part of the population, for who many other things are also deadly.

Yes, protect those people the best we can, but everyone one else should be living their life as normal as they can now. I'm going to the old dears today, and there's no chance I'm telling my 5 year old that he can't give his granny a hug.

So far only a second wave in Victoria, which seems to be under control, I hope. Below are the infections in Victoria and Deaths compared to the first wave. Don't be complacent it kills.

It's great being a non-believer until it affects you or your loved ones then people think differently.

The whole world is being turned upside down to protect (a guess) roughly 1% of the population?

What should be happening is that that 1% should protect themselves, while the rest of us revert back to normal.

Then the BBC can stop earnestly suggesting we're all going to die every ****ing morning.

What I found most interesting when I was away in France is how the other nationalities are dealing with it. They are essentially going about their business and are clearly at ease with how they should behave and what they need to do. The Germans and Dutch especially.

I'm certain that this is a lot to do with how this is being reported to them, as well as how their government is dealing with it of course. We've been forced fed scare stores every single ****ing day since this all started.

When we checked in at Biarritz the girl said "are you not scared then?"

There were very few British out there. Mostly been scared into not going by the BBC and its bullshit scaremongering.

There was an initial panic because nobody knew what they were dealing with. So I can understand why the govt went for total shut down, especially when there were nearly 1000 people dying every day.

Now we know a bit more about it, we can manage situations a lot better and take necessary precautions without the scaremongering and wrecking jobs and the economy in the process.

problem is that a lot of the damage has already been done, so it’s going to take years if not decades to recover from.

A good idea by Labour, to test people at airports, rather than getting people to quarantine at home, after they've infected more people, on their way home from the airport.
