The simple stats from today are.... we didn't win. The good thing from McCant's perspective is we never lost.

The problem with us was, well as you say being a "big" club in League 1, its most barring a few, their big day out coming up here or hosting us, they were playing our Name so a team of leauge one players raised there game extra 10 percent, unfortunately our team of leauge one players struggled against them. Hull are a big name, so be prepared for teams to up the percentage as like you say, we were prem teams not too long ago. A load of Hull supporting Soldiers taking part in a remembrance March around the pitch sat next to us for the game v Hull funny enough. Top Top blokes and I remember then fondly.

We’re as bad. Grant McCann promised ‘free flowing’ attacking football on his arrival at the club. 7 shots a game with one on target is standard these days. How he expects to win matches without having shots at goal is beyond me. I think he needs reminding league matches won’t be decided on penalties <laugh>

I think we both have basket case owners, I’d be hard pushed to say who’s the ****test. <laugh><laugh> Which is a sorry state of affairs for both clubs.

Lol I'll see you what you've just said, and ill raise you that we've managed to take a goal machine in Will Grigg and put his fire out.

Well may be new owners a new start like us is what you need and I'm sure your nearer to getting that than us. One problem is you hope the new owners are good people and have the club at heart which isn't always the case. Last time i came up to Sunderland the car wouldn't start after the game and some of your lads pushed me off and did the trick. Let's see how we go this season and more importantly they get an answer to this virus and we can get back to games.

He's just reporting what he saw. That's his job.

Come on, he's negative to the extreme. Rips grant to bits ( deservedly ) when grant had no time to prepare and couldn't go anywhere, but every time he gets a planned interview with the allams he plays nice and bottles it. The man is perfect for his daytime radio show, but he's just not great when it comes to football commentary ( in my opinion ) if he was a real fan and really wanted to be the award winning journalist he tells everyone he is, then he would absolutely go to town on ehab when he got Infront of him, but he didn't and doesn't.....that's his job after all

In fairness people who watched the ‘live’ stream are saying exactly the same thing.

You can’t put a positive spin on a performance in which we were second best in almost every single area.

Almost like watching **** performances merits calling them... **** performances.

We won the game, stopped the rot and have something to now build on. New guys looked to be better then who they replaced and we where missing 6 players. But hey stuff all that. Let's just carry on being negative to the extreme at every single opportunity.

I'm pretty sure if we finished second this season, you'd still ****ing complain that we didn't finish top.

He just reports on what he sees, like the rest of us. Every report I've seen matches what he said. Every last one. Including what people on here saw.

If he challenges McCann or the Allams he gets barred.

It's a ****ing disgraceful totalitarian state that's being created around our club and I'm getting more pissed off by the day.

No wait. I'm losing interest by the day.

Considering I think we'll be midtable at best, I can assure you I won't. Right now, the idea of McCann guiding a side even close to a playoff place is laughable.

Maybe if McCann can convince me by doing some logical managerial work and actually winning some matches, it might help my opinion change from him being a clueless bastard.

We won the game by virtue of a penalty shoot out. We should have lost the game in normal time. There are very few positives to take from that performance, it’s no improvement on last season’s debacle.

Still interested enough to constantly post about who uninterested you are though!

So because he may get banned by ehab for actually doing his job as journalist, he just plays good little dog and Hoover's up the scraps they drop to him... A real journalist / fan which he claims to be wouldn't care! They would go for the story, do what their customers ( us as listeners ) want from the interviews etc. But instead he's to bothered about going hungry when the scraps stop being dropped

No real journalist probably has to deal with such a pair of spiteful ****s.

Who cares how we won? We won... And you won't find positives if you don't want to see them!

Lol why? As kempton said, it's his job and when it comes to getting the answers his customers want from the people we want them from, he is piss poor and looks after his interests first.

Plus I'm almost certain real journalists have to deal with way worse then the allams daily

Because there aren’t any. I want to see changes in our attacking play. I want to see this ‘free flowing’ attacking football we were promised. I want to see a plan B if plan A isn’t working.

Unfortunately you won’t see any of the above. As the patterns of play are exactly the same.
