Tbf we only played 3 defenders, 2 of which were right backs

 

So goalkeeper aside we had 7 attack minded players and we didn’t score!

 

Did we get beat?

Not how it works though orvevetinevwoukd just field 11 strikers.. This is the problem really we've got huge weaknesses in all areas

 

Ah just seen, 1-0. We're improving

 

Tbh look at the line up.

Our first 11 won't resemble anything close to that soon.

 

Probably will have 7 of them in like

 

Almost half the team once everyone's available.. Im not worried.. The injuries are all to **** players that wouldnt be in the 1st 11 anyway bar dubs.

If we get Lewis Fraser wilson in for Sat we should have reasonable side on the pitch.

I just really wish Wed sign a proper player in cm.. Thats going to kill us and striker as usual

 

Fraser hasn't kicked a ball for 6 months, no way is he going straight in. Although Bruce doesn't seem to care about fitness so he'll probably play him for 90 mins and he'll get an injuru

 

Tbh I'd throw the ****er in rather than play Joelinton, Atsu or Murphy.

I've got a really bad feeling bruce has been fooled by that pile of crap pre season

 

I’m worried. I’m just saying this is the worst pre season prep we have ever had. We have about 5-7 injuries going in and that’s just shocking.

We are banking on 3 new signings min to hit the ground running. 1 which hasn’t kicked a ball in six months and another who is coming from the championship.

The other from a relegated side (along with unfit Fraser).

How anyone is optimistic is beyond me?

 

Typical Steve Bruce, all his teams suffer from mass injuries.

 

He’s like a PG version of Souness.

 

That idiot could've won the eufa Cup I'd he wasn't hell bent on winning the early rounds 8 nil

 

Concerning that we seem to give away a lot of goals from headers year on year. Do we never learn?

We were solid until Bruce got the job

 

The football nufc have been played for quite a while has been the worst I've seen for years... It was way better under rafa.. Fans seem to have a hard time diciphering between low possesion, organisied, play and structure vs incohesive, directionless possesion that results in the ball being punted from cb to a striker with his back to goal or cms coming short to meet passes from cbs and long diagonal balls over and over and over again.. Its an absolute mess... Rafas system was effective, organised and actually had a real sting on its tail.. This stuffs just an absolute shambles

Bruce needs to sort this out... Hopefully it's a work in progress, but I can't quite see anything working.
