The Rafino Alcantara is a poor substitute for his bro, so not for me especially when we are chasing a gold card player like De Paul. and just on the Rodrigo De Paul subject today Fiorentino have agreed a loan deal to bring in a creative midfielder. Fiorentino have no money but wanted De Paul and cant afford him so got a loan player in. AC Milan have just signed a creative midfielder so they cant afford De Paul and have no room for him now. juve are now full too and Suarez is also going to Milan on free. I dont see anyone else in the frame for De Paul now
Good to have some backup for Coops but I think that kills two birds in one stone by having some CB backup but also having someone who can play LB. Think Dallas will start the season at LB and then this new kid will replace him if Bielsa likes what he sees which I’m more than happy with. I think Douglas will go if this happens and Alioski will be competition for Jack and a good player to bring off the bench to bring some energy in certain games at LM/LW.
This sounds like great news for us. Might be that all our transfers are done deals prior to the Liverpool kick off bar a GK if Kiko leaves which would be great business considering how short the breaks have been between seasons.

Doc the young croatian CB reminded me of watching an all time great who but for cruel fate would have been captain on England in 1966 I watched him play against Big John in a fasinating battle of probably the best 2 players at the time Duncan Edwards and this young man as all the atributes being quick and very strongI hope we sign him because I am not sold on Cooper How much will the dutch lad cost he could well prove a good sub to bring on so fast

Mike the young Dutch kid will cost £1.3m which means we will have spent around £8m on 6 new kids but should expect to see some existing U23s released, sold and loaned out i have updated the sticky after Josh Sheergold was transferred for free yesterday. But also need to remember we have Kun loaned out as well as Rafa Mujica, Nessy will be binned off and Grot, LDB and O’Kane, plus Edmondson back from Aberdeen injured. I expect Bogusz, Gotts, and more to go out on loan
