    Anyone had their bloods done?

I had mine taken yesterday morning and it turns out I have had COVI-19 - I'm still alive despite underlying condition (Type 1 diabetes)!

Anyone else know if they have had it?

This for me too. Last year I was ill, followed by 2 weeks of not being able to taste food. This was before we even knew about it though. Can anyone get an antibody test?

Never had a fever, but did have 3 days in April where I could hardly breathe (couldn't say full sentences without gasping for breath, had to phone 111 a couple of times). Sounds like Covid but what ultimately sorted me was getting a preventor inhaler. Used to have asthma as a kid, not had an attack for about 25 years so didn't even have inhalers in the house. Suddenly had that happen, eventually got one and it cleared up. The doctor said it was likely an asthma attack triggered by a viral infection. So might not have been Covid, but given nowt else has triggered it for years it wouldn't surprise me

I like others think I have had it in feb,I had about a week where I was constantly tired and would come in from work and fall asleep on the sofa every night from around 7pm which is never me. No matter how much sleep I had that week I was still tired. Also had a sore throat and blocked nose

I had a cough for around 3 or 4 weeks before christmas. Temperature too for the last week. But in early March I lost my sense of taste and smell completely - but I was on antibiotics at the time and that was a listed possible side effect!! Never felt "life threatening" or really any worse than having a cold. Guess I'm lucky in that respect and only had a mild dose of it

@Confucius @The Berk Our work enforced it for all high risk staff (I am as I am diabetic) and that's how I got it. I've no idea how you'd check

Pretty sure I've not had it myself, but I met an old mate just before it took off. He works abroad, and told me that he had to come home early from a trip last November.

Very poorly indeed, and was told in hospital that he had a severe chest infection. By the time I saw him in early March or so, we all knew the text book symptoms, and he ticked every box. He later messaged me to say that he had also lost his taste and smell for about a month as well, but hadn't realised when we were talking that they were symptom as well. So maybe he had it, maybe not. But he is a long way from being alone with this kind of story.

A 3rd of my close pals has tested positive for it (over about 4 month period), I’ve spent a lot of time with them all, one in particular I’d been on a weekend lash up with in close proximity for 13 hours, I didn’t get it.

I wonder about how contagious it is.

You probably have had it. Most of us in our age range don’t show any symptoms.

Folk are hopefully realising now it’s been blown out of proportion in the media. The elderly should have been told to be careful while everything and everybody else carried on as normal.

You could’ve been asymptomatic mate. My guess is when this is studied more they’ll realise it has been about a hell of a lot longer than they think it has as well.

I haven’t had it though lads, I’ve been tested couple times, once through work and once before a medical thing for my knee.

Ill be tested again before my dental work I’m having done, and I did an antibody test about a month ago and it was a no.

I genuinely thought I had had it shortly after Christmas as I was down with a flu for around 10 days and I’m usually absolutely bulletproof but was bed ridden, I was surprised that wasn’t it, even more surprised that I’ve managed to not pick it up from one of the first 2 pals.

I’ve been ropey this week mind, all lethargic, so with him having a positive this morning I may need another check, I’m always concerned I can pass to my dad who’s getting along in years.

A couple of month ago I was destroyed for a couple of weeks, no energy and constantly going asleep in the afternoon. At the doc's end of the month so going to ask for a test then as I've broke a tooth and can't see the dentist pulling it out unless I've had a test and am clear.

Yeah you need a test for dental work as I said I have to have one before any treatment.

My Mrs (NHS worker) had the anti body test at work and it came back negative but they also stated that it does not mean she hasn't had it as a mild dose might not show up anti bodies. We have both had time off work due to being ill with symptoms before tests were readily available and my son was also off school pre lockdown.
