Dean Holden hoping for 'three to four' new signings as Robins close on Steven Sessegnon Talks continuing on incomings and outgoings https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/dean-holden-hoping-three-four-4479256 One on board, still 3 or 4 more to come in, how many more going out? DH changing the scenario.
BRISTOL CITY IN FOR SESSEGNON Fulham are looking to balance the books and one player expected to leave Craven Cottage on loan is Steven Sessegnon. We understand Bristol City have beaten off competition from a number of Championship clubs to land the England U21 international who featured nine times last season at full back for Fulham. City’s new manager Dean Holden prefers to play 3-5-2 formation, with Sessegnon expected to fill in at right wing-back on a season-long loan. skysport football.
There must be a few on the way out. I wonder who? If we get Mawson, and, or the youngster from Liverpool, that is a lot of CB's on the books, so who's leaving? It looks likely Ashley Williams won't return - no great loss for me, I felt he just gave up in a number of games last season.
Quite agree, no loss at all. With the experience he has I expected a bit of a role model and showing a bit of leadership. But he looked like a rank amateur at times especially the stupid sendings off at Brentford and Forest

I am in a minority here but mostly I was quite impressed with Williams. Goodness knows what was going through his head for those red cards - it seemed (to me) to be completely out of character. No excuses - they were both stupid, but he did some good stuff in the other games he played in. I thought he brought a composure to the defence most of the time - which makes those 2 incidents even more extraordinary! Like I said, I accept I'm in the minority. I won't be terribly upset if he goes - as long as he's replaced, but I wouldn't be terribly upset if he stays either.
On a free, and a proven scorer at this level - not sure where the problem is? Plus he scored more than Kieffer Moore last season, and he did get relegated, and you paid a large fee for him
Hes past it. Suits your long ball game though. We are more than happy with Moore. Another intenational goal last night.
We don't know what our style will be this season under our new manager yet!! … come to think of it, I'm not sure what our 'style' has been for the past 2 seasons! There was certainly a lot of 'Long Ball' towards the end though.
Chris Martin on a free is good business. But then you have to factor in farriers fees, livery and the nosebag.
Chris Martin that is a top top signing quality striker-Derby fans ain't very happy about it. Bring in Alfie Mawson at the other end that is some signing. Blimey it is getting exciting make no mistake quality is arriving. p.s Deano has no excuses if this goes tits up.
