Even ignoring Ferguson’s already proven successes prior to joining Manchester, that McCann will never come close to achieving, thats not true surely?

So not only are you allowed to criticise people for sounding like they think everyone should think the same way they do, by apparently suggesting they ought to think the same way you do, you also get to decide who is considered a supporter!

    Doesn’t work like that.

I think we’ll lose every game beforehand, always have done, probably always will do, I’m pessimistic and negative. Doesn’t stop me supporting the team during a game.

That's different.... Game pessimism. I'm the same and that's why I didn't end up enjoying the PL. Cheering a point at home and listening to the punditry constantly blowing smoke up the big six arses....

I'm not suggesting my way is the only way, but I wonder what a supporter site is, if some don't appear to demonstrate any support whatsoever. In fact, some appear to want failure in order to be proven right.....

    Strange....

If HP is talking about Fergies' first season & M.U., then his statement is untrue.

Their stats for the '86-'87 season were as follows: Fergies' first game in charge was Oct 8 '86

    ............................P.....W....D.....L
    Whole Season....42....14....14...14
    Pre Fergie...........13.....3......4.....6
    With Fergie........29....11.....10....8

His first full season ('87-'88) they ended up 2nd with a W-D-L record of 23-12-5.

Not one single Hull City fan on here wants failure.

That's a ridiculous suggestion. Get a grip man.

If he does go in 10 games, for me that would be around 25 games too late

It's been recorded many times that AF early form wasn't good enough and his position was in question.

He didn’t lose the majority of the games played as you said he did. He position was questioned because, it appears, losing 5 games wasn’t deemed good enough, McCann took us from play-offish to bottom in half a season. Totally inept, incompetent & in over his head. He’s not worthy of support.

I'd suggest Ehab took us there too, by selling the two players that had been getting us through most games.

Anyway, I just want to see some balance.... Its depressing enough, but with fellow supporters being so lacking in hope.... It's painful!

    Starts again today...

Ask me at 4:45pm (but don't gloat if we lose!)

I'm more interested in 4:50pm next Saturday, just to show you how well balanced a city supporter i am, McCann can have to today as a free hit, lose next week and he can sod off.

FYI - I had the relative numbers slightly off, so edited my post as you were typing your response. W-D-L was 11-10-8 under Fergie - I'd allocated him 4 less games earlier.

Wasn’t it a Steve Bruce goal in the FA cup that kept him his job or was that just a miss quote in history...

Using that Wikipedia first season Fergus took them from relegation position to safety, then second season second, then a few years of indifference as low as 13th (where I expect us to be this season)...

McC first season from 'possible' play offs to relegation ( sell your best when appearing safe / offers you can't refuse.. though keeping Groz and losing some money may have been wiser) One track system of play that did not work or players to play it, defending of the French Surrender style... Only a Plan A(llam)...

He appears (Allams behaviour does not suggest otherwise & as they move themselves from any questioning via media their 'groupthink' will continue) in favour with the Allams, I can't see him being sacked unless we are bottom at Xmas, expecting midtable..
    hoping as always...

5 games. It might be less than that depending on the players attitude/give a ****ness. if they throw in the towel and it’s a 5-0 mauling with heads down after the first goal goes in then he could be gone by 5 tonight.
Big Ron always said players get you the sack, and it’s true. The players last season were signalling they had absolutely no faith in Terry. Ehab was too pig headed to acknowledge that.
He’ll be a bigger moron than we already think he is if he continues to ignore the warning signs.
