Lawro says on his predicitons page on the BBC that "I think if you said to both managers now you can have a draw, they would take it."
I would hope Dalglish wouldn't take a draw against our lesser neighbours as i certainly wouldn't. We have a better team and despite being away from home i expect a victory.

They have very few quality players, with them selling their best player and replacing them with untested, in the Premier League, loanees. Form does go out the window in games like this but our quality in numbers will hopefully overshadow their performance on the day.

**** no. We need a win, and if we do we will have the same amount of Points as Utd did after 7 games last season. <ok>

I wouldn't settle for a draw, we need the win. We need to go on a winning run and our next six games including tomorrow are winnable, we can pick up 3 points in at least five of them. Imagine if we had 26 points from 12 games. It wouldn't be a bad return, as we have 10 from 6.

We need to be up for it to get a win, I hope the new players understand the importance of this match. I 'm sure Stevie and Carra will be drumming it into them.

We should have enough to do them over.

Kenny said all the new players have either already got good experience of derby match tensions, or have had it drummed into them how hostile it will be.

We need a couple of outstanding personal performances coupled with a better than average all round team performance/work ethic.

I'd definitely start with Kuyt & Bellamy - get in their face from the off.

    I agree.
I reckon Kenny shoudn't start Henderson in this game, he will disappear more often than Wayne Rooney does in world cup matches. I would have Bellamy and Suarez up front with Kuyt on the right with Kuyt and Bellamy switching positions during the game.

No way we are going out looking for a draw, Lawro is getting old and senile, he is a pacifist these days.

In fact who the hell listens to Lawro anyway?

Luis won't have it anyway, he will be biting people left right and center
