His video on The Coaches' Voice channel on YouTube is a really good watch. Watched it about a year ago but could easily watch it again, as I could a lot of their videos though to be honest. He discusses the Inter-Barca semi final from about a decade ago, the way he still remembers it is really interesting, can see what a meticulous planner he is and why many say he's a very tactical manager.
What a moment that 3rd Moura goal was Every player had a ‘what could have been’ look about them when reflecting on it...gave me goosebumps...first time I’ve watched it since we lost the final
Nice piece on Super Jan and his friendship with Toby. The focus on Dele shows him to be intense and a prat all at the same time.
Seems like his immaturity gets in the way of focus we could all see that anyway and called it about 2 seasons ago so much scope for improvement Hoping to see a bit of focus on Tanguy so it can confirm to us what we all think about him too
I thought at the end of episode three Tanganga would be the focus in upcoming episodes due to the way the preview was done, looking forward to this one, intrigued to see what it’s like for a young player about to make their league debut, especially against top opposition.
Episode 6 , you just forget that it was one kick in the nuts after another with injuries Another point , Jose does'nt give anythink away in his prematch and half time talks , either they are not showing the tactics or I have missed a trick and not gone into football management
Davies: That £200m was huge back then (referring to Prem spending in £2011), imagine what that £200m would be like now?! Eriksen: That’s Harry’s right foot, £200m mate! Kane: Not now with the hammy mate! (due to being on crutches)
Sonny: Japh, when you gonna sign a new contract? Tanganga: I actually don’t know, I honestly don’t know. Sonny: Ask him (looks at Levy)
The stuff on Tanganga was great, didn’t disappoint. Real humble guy as well, doing it all for his family. Rose showed some poor attitude in the chat with Jose. I fully back him for having a word if he feels he’s not getting play time and that he’s not happy etc but to say “if I’m not in your plans just send me home” is a real ****ty attitude to take and then saying you’ll go find Levy is petty. Levy and Jose have a chat about Rose too and Levy more or less says in so many words that Rose thinks he’s better than what he is when talking about the only teams interested (Bournemouth and Newcastle). The Bergwijn stuff was good too. Levy joking as Bergwijn gets off the phone to Jose after signing saying “don’t let him down now” and then Jose in a clip just a few minutes later saying “its not fair to put pressure on him!” You also see more of Hugo and his leadership, didn’t see much of it in the first three, I know he was injured but I thought they’d have still shown him with behind the scenes stuff. Lot more assertive than I had him down for. Loved Jose’s talk at half time during the City game. Talks about being bad guys and how City will know Toby is on a yellow and then proceeds to mention that Walker, Zinchenko and Sterling are on yellows for them (Winks then heeds that by getting Zinchenko sent off - Winks’ best ever game for us too in my opinion, was excellent that match). Episode 6 really was brutal. Makes you realise how **** our luck was before covid with regards to injuries.
I had to chuckle at Rose trying to tell Mourinho how it is, and him then asking Levy if there had been a bid from Milan .
Everything I have thought about Rose since that disgraceful interview in 2017 was proved right in that 2 minute footage. Can't wait til he gets the **** outta our club.
Mate, honestly, when I was watching that conversation with Jose, I was thinking to myself "who does this guy think he is?". I'm all for having open and honest conversations, but you can do that without disrespecting your team mates and coming across as overtly confrontational when, most objective watchers of him, would tell you his performances had declined dramatically. After all, there's a reason why only Bournemouth and Newcastle showed concrete interest in him - and even then, both clubs only wanted a short-term loan deal. No-one seemed to entertain the idea of taking him off your hands permanently. Then the way he stormed off at the end like a petulant whinger was pathetic. Him saying "I'm going to talk to Daniel about this" is just typical spoiled brat behaviour. To his credit, Jose handled the situation calmly and professionally. The same cannot be said about Rose.
