No chance. Potter is a good manager. Lallana on a free, the Ajax CB, and White. In return for Duffy (who was already phased out under potter) and Murray out... That is some solid strengthening in reality. Brighton will get 15th-13th sort of position without too much sweat i think.
I would pretty much go along with this. I think that WBA, Fulham , Villa, Palace, WHU and Brighton need to be careful. I have a funny feeling about Palace and think that they may implode this coming season. They looked shaky during the restart and I feel Hodgson needs to rebuild that team. At the other end of the table, I feel that Liverpool will underwhelm this season. They will not reach the heights of the last two seasons and have not strengthened the squad. You have got to say Man City are favourites but I have a feeling that it will be more open this season. I think that the surprise will be Man Utd and I can see them finishing above Liverpool. Chelsea will also be in the mix. I have a gut feeling Liverpool might only achieve fourth.
You may be right but I would wet myself if Lallana gets relegated after winning the Champions League and the Premier League
Who did? Nosferatu or Nostradamus? There was also the Cosa Nostra. They predicted that people could get hurt and things could get broken!

I’d put a pretty sizeable bet on Man United not finishing above Liverpool, Ian. Have to disagree on that one.
Will follow his development with interest. He looked like he had a lot of potential a few years ago but not seen him play recently.
Of the top 5 clubs, Liverpool are the only one not to have strengthened. They have been exceptional for the last two season but the re-start back in the summer suggested that they had taken their foot off the pedal. You wonder how much of that was attributable to having secured the title and whether the motivation is there. Man Utd are in a strange position. I have been surprised just how many fans have written them off. I must admit that I thought that they would have done better last season. They effectively only achieved their potential in the re-start and , even then, there have been a few erratic performances. As an outsider, they look like they are heading in the right direction. However, the recruitments seem to genuinely have improved the squad and you wonder hoe they will shape up if they sign Sancho and Grealish. I think that their squad does need pruning of players who have not really delivered. Conversely, I think Greenwood and Fernandes seem the kind of players that Ferguson would have appreciated. If any of the "big" clubs are going to fall short this season, I think it will be Arsenal and Spurs. Utd will surprise amny people this season.
United have made some decent improvements to the squad but still have the problem of having a glorified PE teacher in the dugout. I bet he's pinching himself every day and can't believe he's convinced people that he's capable at this level.
Am I the only Saints fan who doesn’t resent Lallana? Too many happy memories to bear a grudge. Obviously I’d find it hilarious if he went down with the Brighton.
If Van Dijk and Mane were to both get injured for a fair chunk of the season, that would be entirely possible.
I will also keep and eye to how he progresses, tipped as a breakthrough prospect at one point .......wonder what changed.
Opposite for me. He's the only one I still hold a grudge against, don't care about any of the others.
