I've lived on the kent/sussex coast for over 20 years. Its never been as bad as it is now, which on the
hole is tragic.

Not as tragic as the fact that come January the 80% average of asylum application refusals won’t be able to be returned to anywhere.

So quite what happens to them is anyone’s guess.

Another Brexit bonanza.

I was born and bred in Kent, and trust me, I'm old, but I'd disagree with your comment, purely because a refugee has NEVER affected my life in any way shape or form, and I'd struggle to believe it has yours.

My biggest bug was operation stack, and if you know Kent as well has you claim, you will know, this shhite all occurred once they completed the Hollingbourne to Charing link. It never should have been allowed to stack, and they should have just wacked it into a field, like they will do eventually anyway, after causing nigh on 30 years of misery for eveyone, including the truckers, with the damn thing.

Refugee's and asylum seekers, feature no where near the same concern. Why, because they don't affect you or me directly. Unless I'm missing something and you lived in Dover or Folkestone during those two decades. Don't need an answer to that btw.

Operation Stack?

When there's trouble at the crossing, the lorries have no where to go mate, so they have to stack them on the M20, hence it makes the motorway inoperable, because it just becomes a massive lorry park. This then affects all the neighbouring towns for miles, because commute traffic has to find alternative routes, on roads not built for it. It's caused problems as far back as the A2/M25 before and that is fooking absolute miles away. Basically it's the snowball effect.

Never understood me why people are so bothered by immigration tbh. Good luck to them I say.

It’s not like it’s even a new thing. People have been coming to this country for centuries. French Protestants and East European Jews fleeing religious persecution, huge numbers of Irish fleeing famine. They weren’t all made to feel welcome at the time either, but by and large they all contributed more to this country than they took out.

As it goes, the European Jews that headed here were treated with a similar ‘invaders’ type attitude. If you look back at the news of the day, it’s remarkably similar.
