You ever considered leasing a vehicle for your business? I'm not sure how that all works for claim back from the taxman.
I haven't, but a few of my associates do. Could be a good option as I think with a lease, all the servicing and maintenance is covered. I think you're limited in how many miles you can do. Plus I'd be sharting myself that I'd scratch or dent the ****er and end up having to pay a hefty bill. The benefit of outright ownership is that you're not worrying about damaging what is essentially somebody else's car.
Anybody know anything about your consumer rights if you buy a used car from a dealer and have it delivered instead of going to collect it ? I presume you're covered by basic consumer rights act and can return it if there are any undisclosed faults ? Seen a van I like, but it's in ****ing Ormskirk which is about the same distance from the moon from where I am.
Bit gutted. This is my view at the moment. Maybe nothing much. But no one looking in. It"a a massive plot. A school used to there. Lots of wildlife, but now it seems its gonna be ripped apart for new houses.
You have extra protection if you buy on the net believe it or not. As you’re covered by the distance selling regulations as well as the Consumer Rights Act. If you buy it unseen and have it delivered, you can return it within 14 days and get all your money back, without needing a reason.

Driving down the country lanes down here can be sketchy as ****. And the hedges ain't like normal hedges, they are filled with lumps of granite. Plus the sort of thing I'll be using it for is getting on and off site at festivals and events, loading and unloading. It'll take a battering, so I don't really want a minter.
Don’t pay them on delivery, as it could be classed as you having inspected the goods and accepting them as is. It’s a vague area of the law. If you buy it, pay by bank transfer before delivery (assuming you’ve done your due diligence on their reputation, as Tobes Ltd wont be held liable for you being skanked lol)
I thought so, slow, ugly and felt like it should have 3 kids and a wheelchair in the back. It was a few years ago now like, so probably a 10 or 11 plate.
They are never gonna be a 200 bhp car with any grunt, at the end of the day it's a van and it's about load lugging. But the ones I'm looking at come with a 2.0 140 bhp engine, so it shouldn't be too much of a slouch .
