Business shuts because twerps think using horses is cruel. I wonder what the Venn diagram of entitled snowflake vegan tree huggers looks like when you say that the horses being used is cruel vs the impact on the environment for using diesel powered barges instead.

"Leave that majestic beast alone, using animals is bad"
"Ok, I'll replace the horse with a motor engine instead"
    "You are raping the planet!"

Black Lives Matter: 'I refuse to let a slaver take my name away'
Black Lives Matter: 'I refuse to let a slaver take my name away'
When the statue of Edward Colston was pulled down in Bristol during the UK's Black Lives Matter protests, it had special resonance for one man thousands of miles away.
Black American actor and playwright Lee Edward Colston now wants to find out whether he shares more than a name with the 17th century slaver.
He told the BBC's Laura Foster why he refuses to let his family name be tainted by the barbaric practices of the past.

There is an outside chance that the actor's ancestors may have been slaves owned by Edward Colston but this isn't anything new. Other black American and British decedents of slaves also claim that their family name is that of the plantation owner they worked for and as such their history is still being dictated to and tainted by slavery.

Not sure how much it costs to change your name in the USA but over here it is £19. For under twenty quid you can rid yourself of the nasty slave connotation name that your former masters bestowed upon you. Seems a very small price to pay to emancipate your identity. About the same as a bargain bucket from KFC when put into real terms.

The interviewer asks if the chap thought of changing his name but he says he won't because he is proud of it. Hates slavery, hates being named because it is property and because "bar codes weren't invented" at the time of slavery, but won't spend five minutes on-line to pick something wholesome and meaningful as a replacement. Another example of being offered the tools of change but refusing to pick them up.

More Star Wars to be honest.

Nice to see the multi-millionaire John "who the f.uck was he before Star Wars" Boyega take a massive sh.it on Disney after it made him a star. It must be really tough trying to spend all those Disney Dollars on black owned products only at the same time as dressing up in clobber the average negro couldn't afford on a year's worth of benefits in the latest issue of GQ.

You could say the original Star Trek series was very forward thinking, Lieutenant Uluru snogged Shat Himself iirc.

Homo aliens, homo black aliens, bisexual aliens aplenty in The Orville if you want a bit of sci-fi based LGBTQ+ action.
