October 14th, not that I'm fussed. FIFA outclasses PES by a million miles this year. Problem for PES is they never change much, and when they do they only try and copy FIFA and make a worse job of it.
For anybody finding the defending a lot harder now, there is an option on controls to switch back to the old way of doing it 'legacy defending'. I was getting ripped to shreds down the wings so had to go back to the old system. Am loving the career mode, much improved!
I got Obi and Coutinio (sp?) on loan from Inter. Then I bought Owen for £2 million, he's been great so far. Stewart is rapid and has improved +3 so far. I'm quite impressed with how it plays compared to last year, it's not a massive improvement, but they've made more of an effort than usual.
It's a lot slicker and more customisable (if thats a word), the player ratings seem a bit better thought out too, and they haven't overlooked certain players. Very thorough.
They have still neglected player likenesses outside of the Premier league. It's only a small thing, but it would make the game a lot better. The whole new scouting system is a lot better though.
I think its great having the Challenges based on real life matches too. But on the Support Your Club tables I noticed that TWS are 2nd in the Prem so we should surely be capable of promotion.
Impressions after three days= prefer the old defending system so switched to that (legacy defending), also changed the user sprint speeds to 75percent instead of 50percent as seems like the CPU is always faster. Love the new commentaries, no Andy Gray, and Andy Townsend only does the cup games. This is the best footy game I have played without doubt.
Fifty times better than FIFA 11. Psychologically I have to play on Legendary as I feel as though it's not really an accomplishment if I get promoted on anything lower. Seems like I'm the only one who has this problem Also meant that I only managed a 10th placed finish at the end of my first season Love the player growth system, signed Andros Townsend and over the course of a year he's gone up by four to 71 OVR.
I've never played higher than pro since FIFA 07 when I got to World Class, am not the best but enjoy the games anyway. The good thing about this one is that you can customise everything in the settings so if you find some things a bit hard you can tweak it.
I spent that much time playing the last FIFA I became unbeatable, and had to take a sabbatical of a few weeks after I went 4-0 up after 15 minutes in Legendary mode (as Wolves against Fulham, if you're sad enough to care). Stick to World Class now.
I was like that on 11, Legendary's a hell of a lot harder to crack this year, sticking with it even though I lose half the time
Battlefield 3, yes please. Too many cod fan boys around. cod has always been a polished turd with tinsle thrown on.
I have the new Fifa. I used to get both PES and Fifa but PES was always faster paced and more exciting for me. But they ruined it last year by making it slower and ruining the shooting. I'm not playing a PES until they change the shooting back (y)
there is far more chatter about the club than last seasons , tho it seems they kinda want to point to the "new" stadium as partial reason for the clubs financial worries. Also the game still yaps on about Don Revie when Leeds are playing Zzzzz As for BF3 , i thought the beta is quite poor. I would say its a june build with the multiplayer servers being the only recent code
