Raw Cabbage with sausage and chilli.

Sounds like something a Pole would pull out of their bait box the day before pay day.

I used to like Iceberg lettuce wraps, or any large crispy lettuce leaves. Not sure about raw cabbage though, would probably prefer a cooked leaf.

Probably just prefer a wrap. Let’s not pretend it’s healthy to stuff chilli and a load of sausage into some cabbage.

Not really alot to do with being healthy for me (I don't need to lose weight) I'm just not a great lover of bread all the time, so sometimes lettuce or even cabbage (cooked) is a great alternative, when it suits the mood, not that often mind. I'm not knocking your alternative of wraps by the way, I enjoy them too.

Traditional to eat raw veg with some foods here. Actually it's very tasty and a contrast in textures, like long green beans, round green aubergines, cabbage, chilli's and leafs like tam, mint plus others.

Made this tonight but without the sausage. Used it as a side dish alongside some roast salmon and fried calamari.

Highly recommend it. Went down well and even the kid loved it.
