It’s the one and only thing that keeps me watching the club. That there’s something there underneath. When he ever thankyou ****s off it will be akin to getting out of an abusive relationship. I still find it hard to believe that we have survived this long. I actually hate the man and cannot believe he is still in charge. That we are ran so poorly with no structure. Other clubs must think we are a joke. We sign free players because we have probably pissed off the bulk of premier league clubs with our **** show. I just hate every aspect of our club now.

The media has always pumped out the Ashley's a good manager and the nufc fans expect to win the league and hace unrealistic expectations narrative. That narrative has been pumped out for decades actually not just the 13 years under Ashley... Most football fans don't really know what's going on at other clubs, so over the decades they've just kept hearing this narrative about delusions of grandeur and Ashley being a good owner and it's been absorbed by the masses. The power of the media should never be underestimated and I think the point I've just made and what happened this summer are examples of that.
Yes, anything outside the NUFC bubble isn't understood, but nor should it be. Football has disappeared too far up its' own arse - it's not actually important. It's a weekly piss-up and a tribal sense of belonging. How the **** it descended into this farce is incredible.

It’s supposed to be about entertainment. It got to big with to much money. Even 15 years ago teams where giving it a go and maybe losing but giving it a go. Two teams trying to win a game. Now it’s become a game of getting 36-38 points on the board at all cost. Play against a better team and just sit and hope for a draw. It’s almost like match fixing. In a league that sells itself about being competitive it’s not. But I still maintain that a well ran club operating within its means should be able to do more than what we are now.
That would suggest both teams racing around. It didn’t look as though we were. The only racing we are currently doing is towards a train wreck.
